Re: Rate the 2022 lineups....
Hamilton and Russell could be a battle for the ages. Hamilton would win because he's so consistent and as far as race craft, '18 showed me he's the best on the grid. Russell is not as fast as people think, but he's got "it" whatever that is. His ability to force a Williams into Q2/Q3 was like black ...

Re: Will Hamilton compete in 2022?
Am coming across so many tweets or articles where it's been said the delay from Hamilton to speak out just anything is a hint he's decided to retire. I wonder if someone could shed a light on this - Being a 7-time world champion but losing to Max, would his ego have been hurt? (No disrespect to Ham...

Re: Your hopes for 2022
I want consistent officiating. You shouldn't be able to squeeze someone off the track. Considering that is only allowed by a set of guidelines we know exist, but which aren't public, perhaps it is officiated consistently. But we can't be sure. The same is true for your comment about weaving in the ...

Hamilton and Rosberg. If you have the best car, you know you're going to win both the WDC and WCC and no third team can challenge because they won't win races against those two.

Re: Schumacher's comeback vs. Alonso's comeback
It's almost impossible to argue. Alonso performed well in the standings, but did not outdrive Ocon. However, Ocon has improved since last year and is 98% the driver Alonso is now. Alonso's also 2 years younger than when Schumi came back. Schumacher came back at 41 in what was essentially a 2009 car ...

I watched from 'the middle of '95 to '04 before I got bored of MS' dominance, then came back from '10 to '13 when MS came back, leaving again when he retired for the 2nd time, then '18 on after Grand Prix Driver piqued my interest and finding myself cheering for Red Bull because they took on the Hon...

Anyway, I thought that Driver61 made a great point. As aggressive as Verstappen is, he always tries to make sure that his nose is ahead of his rival’s nose on corner exit. iJO3AhXhiXE I mean half the time when wheel to wheel Max doesn't even try to keep his nose on track. I want consistent officiating. You shouldn't be able to squeeze someone off the track. More than one weaving move on the straights shouldn't be allowed. Currently it's only disallowed in a braking zone. Significantly slowing down as a defense or to let someone pass should be a hefty infringement, if...

In reality, I would say Leclerc should be 10 - 20 points ahead. I think many have been very influenced by Sainz's recent turn of form, which is excellent, but in reality, I don't understand why Leclerc is getting outvoted by almost everyone. Whereas Hamilton, showed pure class in that final lap of AD despite having the rug completely pulled from under his feet. On a tangent here, but I've read this a lot, that Lewis has shown class in the last lap, and for the life of me I don't understand it. As in, what else could Lewis do in the las...

I agree, imagine Grosjean or Mazepin putting in the same performance? Max lost his head in that grand prix. Yes. Yes, 100% crucify the FIA. Although I don't think Mercedes need to seek the WDC, that moment has passed. Short-fuelling a car is not against the rules However, doing so with the intention of stopping on track to force a safety car would I think be treated the same way as Piquet in Singapore. All of these suspicions are irrelevant and just distract from the much larger known events that actually happened. To me, gamesmanship is a part of any sport. There should be some sort of liaison to the RD who the teams can communicate with. The RD has a big job and for the team principals to be able to get on a headset and communicate directly in real time is quite odd.

I don't like the VSC rules where you have to slow down to 40% and maintain your deficit to the driver in front. Driver should be able to pull up all the way behind each other. If you look at it as one race, then I'd say it was quite unfair for Lewis.
