I was in Vegas during the announcement. Only selected press were allowed in, virtually no fans around. It was pretty underwhelming for Vegas. I thought there'd be a fireworks show or something.

Indy is the only FIA Category 1 certified track that is able to host an F1 race. A lot of the nice old school tracks are outdated. I'd love an update to Buttonwillow since I'm only 30 minutes away.

Same compounds (C2,C3,C4) as last year, though the compounds may be slightly different quality this year. Last year hards did 40 laps (FL), mediums 37, and softs 10.

I think whenever a car crashes and has to be removed by marshalls, there should be a red flag. SC and VSC are for track debris like a broken wing of a car that managed to pit. As for lapped cars, they cam stay where they're at.

The design is radical to me. It is unique with the wide, thin inlets and rsther small side pods, two sets of louvers. All of the cars are so different. I like the Alpine and Ferrari designs the best.
