Kimi will be ok. He was still professional rally driver, while Schumacher did few hobby races and Schumacher is some 10 years older than Kimi. Kimi will find it easier to adapt to F1, but still few first races may be difficult to him.

18-20 races is optimal. I don't want too many races, because there is risk of getting bored.

For all the "jaggies" Elite was an amazing technical achievement. It ran on 11kb of memory. Now most forum posts are bigger than 11kb. In 2009 he did not do better than Nelson Piquet Jr who in this forum is ridiculed to the extreme. I wish him all the best, because i support all French drivers (even more if they are of short stature and have a crooked nose), but if he performs great, perhaps NPjr deserves another chance too. Their bluffs could be proved wrong by watching them during tests but so far the car behavior tells that they are not bluffing. Something's wrong ! Recently few cars looked hopeless during testing and yet they started first GP from front row. BMW solved their problem with F1.08 just before Australia...

Re: Vettel/Red Bull-Reanult's 2011 superiority exaggerated
I suggest you look at Silverstone 2011 and see how detrimental running a lower fuel load was to Hamilton's race. The optimal race strategy for a McLaren Mercedes is to start with 15 kilos more fuel than the optimal race strategy is for the Red Bull Renault. This gives the Red Bull an advantage at t...

Did Brawn do this in 2009? No. Did RBR do this in 2010 and 2011? No. In the first case, Brawn simply rolled out in testing, guns blazing, and RBR, in 2010 and 2011 sandbagged a little by holding back some pace and just saying "We're happy with the car and our testing programme". Please show me evid...

Sandbagging is when you drive your car around with a heavy fuel load, hold back your true pace and give nothing away in interviews "It's hard to tell who's where, we're getting through our testing programme well, things are okay" etc. Sandbagging isn't when your car drives with little evidence of g...

Red Bull were definitely "sandbagging" in the sense they didn't reveal or put on their cars the go-fast parts until the last moment. Whether it worked or will be remembered as Ferrari parts is only to be revealed at Melbourne. No one knows. Those parts are "top secret", and their effectiveness is s...
