Re: How Many WDCs Would Vettel have Won Against Ricciardo?
Quickest car in 2012 was McLaren, particularly in Lewis' hands. No question. The Red bull was better at a select number of races, but overall the McLaren was a fantastic car and Lewis missed out on the title because of several errors by his team and reliability, and oh yeah, the Maldonator. Austral...

Re: How Many WDCs Would Vettel have Won Against Ricciardo?
He'd have won 4 titles, he was brilliant in them cars, regardless of relative pace. Once he relearns how to drive cars like 2007-2009 with reduced rear grip, he'll be right up there again. Sometimes its harder to relearn something that to just learn it... old habits. I feared at the start of 2014 t...

Re: How Many WDCs Would Vettel have Won Against Ricciardo?
Hopefully this stays rather mature and not degrade into a Vettel bashing I think it depends on the car. Vettel was very very good with the previous style of car. If they were teammates in the Red Bulls of the previous four years. I think Vettel would have beaten him. In 2011 and 2013 certainly, tho...

Re: Vettel v Ricciardo 2014 watch
Ricciardo drove a great race, deserved win, but had that first safety car come out 10-20 seconds earlier Vettel would have finished ahead today. *Vettel MAY have finished ahead, lets not forget he also had a spin. Just my opinion. Like last week Ricciardo was the better RBI driver, this week Vettel...

Re: Vettel v Ricciardo 2014 watch
Daniel can never just win without having to listen to moaning from Seb fans for days. Vettel may have lost out in the pit stops, but it was him and him alone that spun his car and wrecked his tyres in the process. Any accusations that he was somehow unfairly hindered are ridiculous. His pace afterw...

In the Silverstone test last year, Ricciardo was already setting times close to Vettel's and Webber's. This is what really convinced Red Bull to hire him.moby wrote:Different cars guys. May be last years car would have finished infront of DR every time, but then again, who knows.

Re: 2014 Hungarian GP Race Thread
Great damage limitation for Hamilton. Starts pitlane team mate starts on pole thought the gap would increase by at least 15 points and he decreases it on the day. No.. Damage control by merc. Lewis was as average as fish n chips today... Lucky chap. Lucky Out of interest, what did you think of Vett...

Re: Your verdict after the half of the season
Winners: Losers: Vettel - The current car properties do not suit him Yes... that's his problem... the car doesn't suit him. It's not like he's just simply overrated, a four time fraud, and slower than his teammate. Same with Raikkonen right? It's the car... Bruno Senna said on Saturday that when a ...

Re: Vettel v Ricciardo 2014 watch
Vettel needs to stop letting Alonso past. That's 3 races in a row now. On german tv he told, that he (and not by a fault of his own) wasn't in the right mode for the restart and had no batteries, so he lost two places. Whenever Vettel is in for an at least decent result, he gets screwed somehow. Hi...

i went for Alonso. had bad luck with the first safety car but still recovered from 8th to finish 2nd.
Ricciardo did a great drive, but had a nice bit of luck with the first safety car.

Re: Vettel v Ricciardo 2014 watch
Very poor race from Vettel.
Remember after the first safety car, Vettel was 7th and Alonso was 8th. Vettel could have got a podium but he ended up being nowhere.
