Re: I don't dislike Sebastian Vettel anymore..
I can understand people being bored. But I could never get the hate. Yes at times you see an ugly side but all champions have this. Otherwise they would never get to the top and stay there. Maybe it is because he drives for a 'non traditional' racing team? He will be remembered as one of the all tim...

Re: Hamilton: "Fernando Alonso is the fastest of all for me"
Wow i wonder what Nico will have to say about this interview. He threw a fit when Vettel said his team is the hardest working (Ballsgate), imagine what he will say when he hears that Lewis thinks he is higher callibre. I wondered the same thing when I read that Lewis said he and Nico would not be t...

Re: I made the right call by not watching the Korean GP
I agree. Even when you take out the freakish incidents (Rosberg's nose coming off, Webber on fire) there was a heck of a lot of hard battles with multiple bunches of cars. There were a lot of non-DRS passes at unlikely places, some interesting strategy, and the right front tires on everyone's cars ...

Re: Hamilton: "Fernando Alonso is the fastest of all for me"
Good interview. I feel he spoke the truth about Alonso. In a lot of ways he has enhanced his reputation by competing in a lesser car than the RB. His overall consistency shows his class.
Vettel is a great driver, no doubt, but he won't win over everyone until he is in a lesser car battling it out.

True but it could be extended by a few minutes. Although the panic could be good viewing and throw up a few different results.Schumacher forever#1 wrote:If we had one session, there would be too much traffic for the front runners to put in their best lap

I think the Q2 is a bit pointless. Why not just put the top 10 into the shootout. It would make Q1 more exciting and eliminate the top teams just doing enough in Q2 to get into Q3.

A little bit of mind games chaps. I did not see the interview but I'd guess there was a smile on his face.
If it has riled Nico then all the better. It's all a bit too pally on the circuit at the minute. We need a bit more needle and edge between more drivers if you ask me.

Vettels talent does not stop with his driving skills. He is also a good politician. He has made it is business to be on good terms with the powers that be in F1. Hence his good relationship with Bernie. Despite this though, Bernie knows that F1 needs titanic battles for the WDC, not a cake walk. Whi...

This makes so much sense. And it is obvious he has this mastered.I think you have a point here, Vettel is just short shifting and that in itself if used correctly is a form of traction control, even exiting a corner one gear higher will give you some degree of "traction control

Elderly?! He's 66 and retired in 2006. Also, it hardly reads like a conspiracy theory or an accusation. There is no suggestion it is anything other that conjecture based upon personal observations from a man with a great deal of experience. His interest seems to be describing and understanding some...

Why is it always the top team's advantage that is unfair? If for example Ferrari has 1 second advantage to Mclaren or any other team for that matter, it's not unfair, it's just normal? But when the currently fastest car, Red Bull has the same advantage to Ferrari, then it's unfair and Red Bull must...

Re: How would you make F1 better?
It has been mentioned already but more gravel traps where the car is beached.
It would add bit of a lottery to it and punish driver error.
Qualifying needs to be looked at too. Either skip the Q2 and let the top ten through from Q1 or just have a one hour session where all have to participate.

Why are you blaming Red Bull for doing such a good job? You should direct your anger at the 10 other teams who are not doing well enough. I agree with this 100%. I think it was fair journalism and far from 'gutter press'.
If a journalist fabricated what Martin Whitmarsh said then it would have been gutter journalism. But he did say it so it is fair and right to analyse and speculate on it.
