Re: RUSH 2

Massa vs Hamilton?

Not really a famous rivalry and two rather boring personalities off track.

Something more like Senna vs Prost or the Schumacher controversies.

Even Webber vs Vettel would be more interesting, although you'd have to condense 2011-2013 to fit all the big moments in.

Re: Is there anything Haas about the Haas car?

I think it's great actually. It should be possible for any team to pick and choose parts that are available from other manufacturers/constructors and put together a car of their own. The rules are such that the car must be unique in some way. As far as I'm aware, this is how F1 was back in the early...

Just another dumb thing that Hamilton wears to portray his image as anything but a Formula 1 driver. I really can't imagine he has many fans outside Britain. What should an F1 driver wear when not in the car? His fashion choose has nothing at all to do with us, he can wear whatever he likes. I susp...

Re: DOTW Bahrain - Officially Unofficial Driver Of The Weeke

There were flashes of brilliance from some drivers over the weekend (e.g. Grosjean, Wehrlein, Vandoorne), but I'd have to say the best performer over the weekend was regular DOTR Daniel Ricciardo. Great qualifying, well ahead of his teammate and a solid maximum result despite setbacks. I believe Bah...

But isn't it a fact that 'overtaking' only happens because someone with a faster car than the guy in front is out of place on the track for some reason? How many of those 'amazing' overtakes were down to the guy behind having a faster car, or better tyres, or because the guy in front was struggling...

Re: Found it! The true and only meaning of "Multi 21"

I think any interpretation other than "multi 21" or "multi 12" is a massive stretch and simply hard to believe. It's clear they were disguised as engine settings or similar so competitors wouldn't immediately catch on to the plan (although it's not unlikely their competitors knew what was happening)...

Hoping the gap between the Merc & Ferrari is representative, it will be demoralising if the Merc stretches that out come Q3. I think there is room for an international, common spec open wheel racing series. But I do not think that is what F1 should be. Not sure if F1 drivers would get away with it, but a number of V8 Supercar drivers in Australia do dirt-bike riding (motorcross-style) to maintain their reactions and motor-skills (haha). I've heard that karting is the closest thing to the real F1 for them (grippy tyres, high g-forces and similar re...

They could quite easily set up a "junior" style team using re-branded Ferrari engines. It gets the Alfa Romeo name out there which is what they ultimately want. It wouldn't be able to compete with Ferrari, but would still give the "Alfa Romeo" name an attachment to high-level motorsport (which is wh...

This is good news! I thought they had locked him in to a longer deal. Red Bull are on the decline and it's time to jump ship. Raikkonen.

But not for speed or "being hungry" or anything like that.

Because Rosberg seems in a difficult place mentally, his teammate has the better of him and he doesn't seem to know how to reverse the trend.
