Re: 2020 British Grand Prix Race Thread

Vettel absolutely dejected after the race. Couldn't be bothered to talk to anyone on the last lap or the cool down lap. It got so bad that the mechanics had to ask for a radio check to make sure it was working. https://youtu.be/0hfc713fl9o I was hoping Vettel was going to go out with guns blazing. A...

He is of course the best. If you win you are. But would he really think he is the best knowing other young guy's would challenge / beat him in different cars? If all the cars he drove were championship cars, it's hard to imagine he will not think he is the best even though the material was the best...

Re: 2017 - 2019 just an illusion after all?

The thing is there is a big difference between out rightly cheating knowing full well that what you are doing is wrong and if found out you are going to be in a lot of trouble. And the other, which is bending the rules which isn't necessary wrong, but might upset other teams that might try to get it...

Re: Austria '20 Hamilton/Albon

I still can't see how Hamilton is to blame for this. People are saying he understeered into Albon but I see no evidence of this. The car is under control, he is on full lock around the corner and does not open the steering wheel. Additional, he's on the racing line and isn't running wide. The only p...

I can't see how that's a penalty for Lewis. He had full lock on, didn't oversteer or slide or open the steering wheel before the collision. If anything, I think Albon hit Lewis.

I've just subscribed to Sky F1 for £10 a month on a 1 month rolling contract, so I can cancel anytime.
It's valid for 12 months so I should be able to see in next season as well.
This offer should be valid to anyone who has a standard Sky TV package.

Re: Coverage "improvements" that are just not working out.

10 minute past the hour is to allow longer and better coverage for many regions where F1 is crammed into a schedule. Most TV shows are scheduled on the hour or half past the hour. In many regions F1 show would start at say 1pm and the race would start at 1pm. The coverage would literally start with...

I think it's important to note that nearly all of Hamilton's WDC's have come in the turbo-hybrid era. In this era all you really have to do to win the WDC is beat the guy in the other Merc. I think Mercedes will probably buy them out to be a B spec team.
