It should tempt the teams that can conserve tyres better to do one less pit stop. Will Ferrari and lotus benefit from this?

About rosberg; who would he replace if he was among the best 4 drivers on the grid? Vettel? The youngest triple world champion. No. Alonso? Double world champion and constantly up the front no matter how bad the car is. No. Raikonen? World champion coming back after 2 years(?) and in top 3 last and ...

Well, never mind about the next millennium, worry more about the next century. We are running out of sources of energy, oil being the big one Global warming will have huge effects imo. Before I started watching F1, I dont think I even knew the racing line, and I only started watching it in 2012. Now I know so much more like different lines to take if it is before a ling straight etc. So, in response to your theory, I'm pretty sure it helps. Actually, now that I think of it, it was...

Don't rule out vergne at all yet, this test measures the ability of both of the STR drivers. I believe this is to see the difference in pace of the two teams. Ricciardo will show how well he can perform in the red bull, although, if vergne beats him in the championship again, I can see vergne going ...

I want to say, 'these drivers are so brave to be driving an F1 car', that people respect and are impressed by the boundaries pushed by the drivers. I don't want the sport to be too safe but not life-threateningly dangerous.

I don't see why they would sacrifice a good position on the grid just to have the choice on WHEN they want to use the tyres; what the point in doing sorts on the last stint rather than the first stint. I can only think of if they want clean air for a few laps when the front runners do their first st...

This has already been discussed in another thread. I'm hopeful about the race depictions, although all you can tell from the trailers is that the rendering of the '76 cars is beautiful. I'm also, however, bracing myself for some serious nausea due to Ron Howard's hoky melodramatic "spicing-up&...

Sure the faster they go, the shorter the race, I don't want that and I'm pretty sure you don't want it either. I say, less downforce, fans want to see the drivers struggling to get traction out of a turn, not going round a roundabout in a ford focus at 10mph

I find it harsh that vettel gets booed for being, basically, an amazing driver. He can't help but win those 3 championships, what, you're going to slow down when leading a race to allow other people to pass for the fans. I dislike him, too, but I wouldn't be disrespectful. Ok, put a limited budget on all f1 teams to reduce costs Make tyres more durable Scrap DRS and think of something else ( plenty of ideas out there) Post-pone 2014 engines Keep races below 20 ( although I'd prefer more but it's unfair on the mechanics) Put less downforce on cars as it's becoming too ...

I, personally, don't like vettel, although the only reason for it is because I don't want him to break schumacher's records. But I don't think the booing was necessary, I mean, just because he's unreal at the sport doesn't mean he should be booed when he wins a race. I think, like everyone else, he ...

Re: Did FIA take the show too far at the cost of real racing
in a different thread i just came up with one thing accidentally: do away with the sequential gear-boxes and let the drivers shift via 6-speed-manual again... lots of overtaking took place because a driver mis-shifted which doesn't happen too often these days... this would also spice up race-starts...
