Re: What would Mercedes do?
Another option than what's presented in the poll, Lewis may gift the win to Valtteri on his own if the right situation presents itself. Hopefully not as blatantly as M. Schumacher did for Ruebens Barichello in the 2002 US Gran Prix.

Re: 2017 Brazilian Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Thr
Just hope that if Lewis does let Valtteri through he does not do it like Michael let Ruebens through in the 2002 US GP. Handing over the win right at the line sort of spit in the eye of all of the fans.

Re: 2017 Brazilian Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Thr
Hamilton is already on his final warning after his antics in the final race of last season. If they order him to help Val, he'll help Val. That is, unless he wants to join Fernando at the back of the grid from next year. Final warning I think that went out the window the day Nico resigned. Ha...

Re: Williams uninspiring driver options for 2018
I would like to see what Robert Kubica could do in the current generation of Williams. If Williams doesn't have faith in Kubica's abiltiy to deliver then Paul Di Resta makes the most sense to me.

Re: Your favourite Formula One seasons are...?
For me the most memorable F1 seasons were 1989 and 1990. You knew that you were watching two of the all time greats battling for supremacy. I didn't much like the outcomes of the two Japanese Grands Prix that settled both championships, but the season long battles were magnificent. The current caree...

Re: Who will end their career with the most wins?
Who will have the longer career? ...or is the question "Who will have the longer productive career?" Not very many great drivers retire on top. There is usually a slow slide to mediocrity. Hamilton's performance seems to much more reflect his current level of enthusiasm. Vettel's performance seems ...

Re: Who will end their career with the most wins?
All the metrics seem to point to Hamilton's career as besting Vettel by the end.
Vettel is two years younger and theoretically has two more years than Hamilton remaining but by the time he is ready to retire Verstappen or another young gun will be at the peak of his powers.

Re: Williams in 2018
With Massa retiring, do we now have a new game of musical chairs??? We know that Lance Stroll is on a pay to play contract for the second Williams seat and now the first seat seems to be empty. So who is going to fill that seat and where will they come from??? Who are the candidates?

Re: Would you support Ferrari or let them go?
I am not in favor of the one proposal to use "Standardized Parts" for some of the engine and powertrain. This is not NASCAR. Formula one should not be a "spec car".
