Re: Official Max Verstappen thread

In 2019 Max scored a career high of three wins in a single season. At some point he will have to really step up if he is to fulfill the expectations that most of the pundits have for him. His current path of two or three wins a season will not get him to where the "orange army" thinks he deserves to...

Re: 2020 Italian Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Thread

The minimum in quali will be 1:43:00. I'm not sure how this will actively fix the problem. It will just mean that they will be bunched before the Parabolica, and, more importantly, that every car will want to leave the pitlane with exactly 1 minute 43 seconds to go. Just let the sport be free and h...

Re: Which of Schumacher's remaining records will Lewis break?

So what are we looking at by the end of 2021? Currently, Hamilton has 89 wins, 93 poles and 6 WDCs. There are 10 more races in the 2020 season - let's assume Ham claims 5 poles and wins 5 races and wins the WDC. 2021 will probably be a ~22-race season and I'll just assume that Hamilton continues to...

Re: Which of Schumacher's remaining records will Lewis break?

Just a recognition of the fact that in Spain, Lewis passed Michael Schumacher for the most total podiums by a formula one driver ever. MS had a total of 155 podiums in his career. Lewis registered his 156th in Spain and of course added one to it in Belgium. Coming soon will be 92 career victories fo...

I am guessing that Nico would have been bested by Valtteri more often than Lewis was. Valtteri might even have a championship over Nico. Doubt it. Hamilton has enjoyed better reliability than Bottas every season. Rosberg is already a better driver than Bottas as it is, you add better reliability to...

With most pundits expecting a two stop race, the race strategy will most likely be pretty crucial. Undercuts and Overcuts will mean a lot and the timeline for any VSCs or Safety cars will also mean quite a bit. Those who spend time in the pits just prior to a full course yellow could be big losers.
