Re: 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix Race Thread

Tough times to be a Vettel fan TBH, generally speaking. But hey, he wins races and most of the grid doesn't. Tough times to be a Brundle fan, generally speaking. But hey, he gets most the speaking gigs whereas most of the race journos don't. Someday I'll make a point on these threads and it will be...

Re: Which of Schumacher's remaining records will Lewis break

Consecutive years driving for a double championship team: 6 Pretty remarkable record in itself. Very impressive no matter how people word it. Years driving for a title capable wining team = 8 . Really impressive to win the title 6 times out of 8 times, losing out to a team mate Nico once and to Kim...

Got the game last weekend. I see its still almost impossible to get around the hairpin in Monaco using a controller I'm a D-pad user and find that taking some of the inside kerb helps with the rotation - just be gentle with the throttle on exit ;) I'm dying to get a wheel but literally have nowhere...

For a guy in his debut year having changed teams mid season it was an OK effort. The excuses are starting to run out for him. He is still not getting closer to the pace, he qualified well off Max too. He has had almost 20 grand prix now, that is a good chunk of experience. Saying 'almost 20 Grands ...

Re: Albon in, Gasly out

I think it was decent performance 21secs off Hamilton and some 14secs from Charles. I think this was his best performance. But obviously RBR was really good here and probably the best car. IMO Max was the fastest driver this weekend and should have won the race had things gone his way. Since the su...

There have been supposed rumours in Russia Mercedes may leave F1 after 2020 & concentrate wholly on Formula E. In a way, McLaren would then become the works team of Mercedes. That has been played down by Wolff. Wolff denies Mclaren to be new Mercedes works team . There has been some speculation tha...

A difficult one to predict at this point in time - who would've thought Lewis would rise above the rest back in 2014? My gut feeling is Charles, although if Russell gets to be the heir apparent to Lewis once he retires then he's got a shot as well. Max - depends where he ends up. Norris and Albon? B...

Vettel apparently is "not worried" about his form after Monza, https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/49635086 saying his speed is still there. I might be wrong, but I think his wanting to emulate Schumi's glory years has increased the pressure for Vettel, and the longer it's gone on the harder it's got for him. I might be in the minority but 22 races is way too much. 18/19 is the maximum for me. I actually want to miss F1 during the 2-3 week breaks.

Especially in this age of 'climate emergency' you'd expect the eco-warriors to kick off at something like this.
