Re: Penske buys Indianapolis Motor Speedway & Indy Car serie

Re Indycar Penske news. I can't express how pleased I am. Roger settles for nothing less than the best and I am sure Indycar will be a much better organization because of this. Re F1 Mercedes rumour. Wow, that would be something wouldn't it. Can't help but think it's not really going to happen. It j...

Nice. If you can, watch some of the practice from the stairs up to the bridge over the track down by the S turns, it's not far from where you are. Looks great, have a good time!

Re: Miami GP...again...2021

I bet if this race did go ahead it would be the end of COTA. Replace a universally applauded purpose-built road course with yet another temporary, mickey mouse street circuit? Nonsense! Oh I agree but look at the financial disaster COTA has been. It apparently is barely afloat according...

Re: 2019 Mexican Grand Prix Race Thread

I wonder what will take place between the 2 Ferrari cars. I wonder if there will be any sort of team orders. Why would they? Because its a long run to turn one and if they plan to slipstream one another then that gives them the best chance to be 1-2 after turn one. A bit like Russia. I don't have a...

Re: 2019 Mexican Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Threa

Food for thought. 3 place grid penalty to a safety infringement. 5 place grid penalty for a gearbox change. Bit backwards if you ask me. Agreed. Not hugely important in the grand scheme of things but the penalty system is probably something that F1 could do with sorting out Very good point. Totally...

How about as a test they add the screens and leave the mirrors for a season to see how it goes. I think this is a good idea, but until you use it in real life how would you know exactly how good it is.

I can't understand how people continue to entertain the thought that Verstappen will have a choice of Merc or Ferrari for 2021. Leclerc's made Ferrari a closed shop for Verstappen. They're starting to have troubles controlling their drivers now. Verstappen & Leclerc as team mates? That's bound to e...

I don't like the idea. One race should not determine the championship unless it's a very close battle up to that race, in which case single points would be enough.

It would be interesting if formula 1 took a nascar stance on substitutes. Basically. For example. If kurt Busch went Ill in tomorrow's race and Ross Chastain for example took his car at a pit stop. And Chastain carried on and went on too win the race. Kurt Busch would inherit the win and then point...
