Re: 2016 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Race Thread

I am wondering whether Hamilton is going to try to keep the pace as slow as possible in order to back Rosberg into the Red Bulls and Ferraris. It's a bit of an underhanded move, but it's the only way he can directly influence the outcome. If Lewis is too slow, Nico would overtake him, either in pit...

Re: Ron's gone then

Ron wasn't successful since like 1999 or ealier. 2008 title was deserved, but even before that and after it, it was clear that Ron wasn't as good as he once was. I hope McLaren TP will now be given more freedom. It's similar to what Ferrari bosses where unable to do since Jean Todt is gone. This is ...

But when its the same car all you can say is it was down to luck and people generally don't like the main deciding factor being luck. Since when do you speak for everyone? And since you claim it was "luck", can you back up this claim with more than just a personal opinion? I can put out a better de...

Read the signs when you walk through a circuit. Motorsport is dangerous. Every single driver knows the dangers when they step foot in a formula 1 car. I don't want anyone to die. But these are the best drivers in the world supposedly. If they can't handle the conditions. Retire or slow down. Driver...

Ridiculous, F1 by the lowest denominator because some drivers can't cope with the conditions, and i'm looking at Vettel here as I change his tag line from blue flag to red flag. So if you have a Jules Bianchi moment as was about to happen on the straight you will come on here and abuse the FIA. I d...

In all fairness Hamilton appeared to back off after he cut fiest corner. Hamilton wasn't even defending. Re: Why not just keep it simple and use the black flag?

Verstappen wasn't told anything by race control. He was just told by his team to give up position. It was dodgy move, but how do you determine that? Stewards need some time to investigate and make decisions before they issue any warning or show black flag to anyone, so this isn't any solution. As mu...

Re: Any Other Disillusioned Vettel Fan?

I was worried about Vettel long before this race. Vettel was both unlucky, made mistakes and was let down by Ferrari. It's very similar to what Alonso experienced at Ferrari, but Alonso handled it better. Vettel is very frustrated, but as a fan I think he makes it now very difficult to support him.

Advantage all gone before the VSC came out, doubt they'd give him a penalty TBH. he didn't gain or keep a place & clearly slowed to reduce the gap he'd opened with the rally crossing Yes, still Hamilton just went thru chicane without any real reason to do so. ...
