Re: Toto: Rosberg/Hamilton issues might force line-up change
But surely Merc are living in dreamland if they think they can put two competitive drivers (on an equal footing) in a championship winning car and not expect tension. And the spats that have happened between their drivers result mostly in sulking. Childs play in comparison to what has happened betwe...

It is heartening to see the responses here.
Dropping bombs from airplanes will kill innocent people as well as those intended (and may even create a great recruitment drive for ISIS). To hold this view you should not be labelled a terrorist sympathiser. A disgraceful statement.

Re: Are driver's in today's f1 overpaid?
All the drivers you mentioned are well paid anyway (with maybe the RB as exceptions) so if they keep up or beat their team mates it is not that much of a surprise. The top drivers also bring in big money with sponsorship and exposure. The issue is more to do with the current downside of F1 cars and ...

Yeah it sure was an exciting rivalry even if the racing itself was rather boring. Still the battles between Prost and Senna remain most memorable for me. Lewis vs Alonso was exciting too I think. I have waited as long as I could before chipping in my 2penneth. but here it is. I think it needs a complete re-do of the rules, and how they are made and enforced. Now if this is enough to make it a different series, I dont know, but it needs to be a different ethos. Many of the rules and guidelin...

Re: Ferrari matched the Mercs at last
I'm not that sure. To me Ferrari have been quiet enough on the whole 'the new engine debate'.
I suspect this is because they feel they are either catching Merc at a great rate or they feel they have caught them.
Therefore it must be either the chassis or more probably downforce that is the key.

Re: Lewis: Merc were ‘extra warm’ to Rosberg
If Hamilton had a 30 second gap to Rosberg there is a very good chance that he would have pitted and got a new set of tyres. Whilst there is always a slight chance of a mess up in the pit stop it is worth taking to get a set of tyres you are 100% sure will get you to the end. In effect this is what ...

If Rosberg knew that Hamilton would not pit a second time, he wouldn't have pitted either. This appears to be the critical part that everyone is missing. The only way Lewis could have won on Sunday is if Mercedes screwed over Nico's strategy, and didn't screw Lewis. Wrong, Hamilton's strategy was t...

This has nothing to do with the Sochi deal, no relation whatsoever. This is a legitimate question and places a lot of pressure on the enforcers of the rules. I'm not a fan of Lewis but emotions were running high. Nico was sick at throwing away the race and Lewis was giddy at winning an historic 3rd WDC. Both actions can be explained by that alone.
The only slight problem I had is that Nico could have been a bit more gracious on the podium.

What a surprise.. 8O Michelin were never a genuine contender anyway, all they were after was a bit of a free-ride PR on Pirelli's back. I agree with that.
