Re: V-6 Engines Lowering Costs? Nope.

Oh, on every level the v6's have failed. They are too expensive and complicated and have probably frightened off possible entrants rather than attracted them. They have detracted from the whole F1 experience.
As mentioned the V8's could have been developed a lot further before going down this road.

Re: EU to investigate F1

As for prize money they should take a page out of the Premier League's book. I've seen the money distribution and it was surprisingly even from top to bottom. Not entirely, and that shouldn't be, but still it handed a big portion of the money to the bottom teams. I agree entirely. Bigger teams will...

Re: Anyone fed up with the amount of criticism Maldonado get

Anyone who argues that Maldonado would still be in Formula One if he didn't have PDVSA behind him is deluded, in my opinion. It's that simple. After his win in 2012, he was woeful for the rest of the season and was outscored by the mediocre Bruno Senna. In 2013 he was up against rookie Bottas who g...

Re: F1 Engine Formula Has Clearly Backfired

Disagree with the above. The last few years of the V8's we had Merc, Ferrari, Renault and Cosworth. Now we have the same except Honda in for Cosworth. The whole idea of changing the engines was to attract new suppliers which did not happen. Yes some pushed for the change and threatened to pull out. ...

I want them to stay in F1. I think they have contributed a lot to the sport and have a lot of talent in their team in every department. But they are doing WAY too much of their business in public. The stats do no lie. Every era of refueling resulted in a substantially lower number of overtakes. It also locked drivers into...
