Re: Possible 4 part qualifying in 2019.

The issue with the engine/parts penalty system aside, the three stage qualy has been relatively successful since it's inception and shouldn't be mucked around with (especially as the cynic in me thinks it might be about increasing advertising slots!?). I do however think that the top teams get an ad...

Re: Double Points Vote Now

If we're looking to keep casual viewers watching until the end: Why not just get the FIA to randomly select one of the GP's from a tombola at the end of the season (or seal a chosen GP in an envelope before the season and lock it in a safe, revealing it in a ceremony after the final race)? I can jus...

Then the FIA need to link in an over-ride system in the pit lane to keep each team's traffic light system at red until the pre-requisite clearance is available? In this case, it was Nico's. The replay clearly showed him flooring it before the 'traffic light' system above his pit changed from red to green... I'll take your word for it as I missed this. But although its nearly always the team's fault - how does the team get punished without punishing their d...

Actually the point is more general. (Should have made clearer) That a retiring driver has an ace up their sleeves of potential manipulation of the race even as they are going out. I m not sure Ilike that. It's been done before - see Michael Schumacher at the A1 ring. He collided (with his brother I...

3 points is to be the maximum? that is 4 'boobs' before a ban? Are they combined with grid drops or as an alternative? Not sure of I like it or not. If it was as well as existing punishments it would be ok for mild offenses but if it is 3 freebies, then I'm skeptical they will be a deterrent. I'd a...

Re: Do we need super wets tires?

Changing the regs to re-balance the preference for downward sloping 'tea trays' would help. Just looking at the cars from low angle cameras, you can see why the issue exists. Dictating a minimum clearance or extending the floor of the car beyond the front axles might address this problem.
