Re: Official 2017 MotoGP Thread

I missed the race again, I never remember to watch. Just looking at the results and season form. It seems like Marquez is on for title number 4? He is putting together consistent podiums now and everybody else seems inconsistent. 4 world titles in 5 years would be an extraordinary achievement. How ...

I think people in general care more about who wins the race than who happens to finish 9th, 10th and 11th, if you are about to be lapped then you have lost the right to compete against the leading car(s). why? When i watch bike racing i want to watch the leaders more so than the midfield runners, s...

On what planet would a man pay $36.5 million of his own money to get his mother in law back? I don't think the kidnappers put enough thought into the strategy on this one It's about 1% of his net worth. I would pay vastly more than 1% of my net worth for my relatives. Indeed; to put that in perspec...

The car is the issue, not the driver. so what was the point of getting Vettel then? Not like he could add a few tenths per lap that Alonso can't. Why wouldn't you get Seb once Alonso said he was going?. Who better was available?. Certainly, and I dreamed for 7 years for Sebastian to join Ferrari. B...

Univision will bring the whole race without any breaks and one of the NBC channels will bring it as well. I'm lucky I'm Spanish speaker so I will always watch it on Univision live a me the recorded NBC merely for the English commentary which I think is better than the Univision one.

it is hard to choose but I think it would depend on the quality of racing and drivers. Although I would miss it I have gotten into the following racing series which I think are very exciting to watch. Each one of them has good and bad things (so does our beloved F1) but the racing is exciting: Blanc...

Did you even read the article? I'll paraphrase it for you. Alonso wanted to stay but signed the release form as a bluff to scare Mattiacci into giving him what he wanted. Mattiacci called him on it and signed Vettel instead without Alonso knowing. In the end Alonso had no choice but to leave. You m...

Leave it as it is, it has always been part of racing in F1. Train people to be more attentive when in or around the pitlane. I personally think it spices things up when a team makes a perfect stop in 2.5 seconds and the other makes a mistake and it takes them 5 or 10 seconds. It only means you lose ...

I don´t dislike this qualifying procedure, but IMO the best system was when there was only one lap per driver, and we could see them all.
