Re: 2016 Renault vs. Honda - Battle of the laggards

I think Honda have enough information to go on to fix the main issues with their engine, which is ERS deployment. By all accounts the ICE seems OK - a few tweaks and it'll be right there. ERS, well, they're not going to sit down and take it lightly. Renault were clearly swimming pool around last yea...

I rate Button quite similar to Kimi. Ah yes, Kimi, the same guy who was easily matched by Massa when they were teammates at Ferrari (actually, Massa was a bit stronger overall). The same guy who got demolished by Alonso and is currently being tonked by Vettel. Nico has been closer to Hamilton than ...

Hamilton. Rosberg.

They're about the only two on the grid right now.

Vettel had a good car and used it to its full potential in the V8 era. Hardly flattered, he was sensationally quick.

It's definitely Felipe Massa's baby. I remember back in 2000-2004 you never heard it. But as soon as Felipe came on board, there it was. Then when he paired up with Kimi on 2007, it caught on for both drivers. Same for Fernando. And now we have the generation that grew up watching these guys - Hulk,...

The sad part here is the lack of testing, meaning that a driver willing to put in the work to get to speed with his car can't even do so. Is a driver who takes 2x as long to get used to a car, but once he's used to it is 10% quicker better than a driver who gets used to a car immediately but is only...

I disagree, I think Pirelli have been getting it right much more often than not since the start of last year.
