Hey Blake! Her song came out about a year ago, so it was definitely out last December :) It's a great surprise for us, she's had a pretty rough season ,this year so nobody was getting their hopes up, but it seems she timed it to perfection. As far as sports go, we are something else. We've already g...

What a crazy day for Slovenia! Tina Maze won gold in giant slalom (her second gold medal in Sochi after winning in downhill) and our national hockey team beat Austria 4:0 to progress to quarterfinals! We have 148 registered male hockey players in Slovenia (2 million inhabitants) and we've made it in...

Love that last photo Guia. Classic F1! :) Yes it's nice isn't it. I particularly like the shadow cast by the car... Not quite sure where it was shot though. Anthony Noghes? It's not Anthony Noghes - that corner didn't exist in 1957, it was just the original 'Gasworks' hairpin. I'm guessing the pic ...

Disagree. i think it's one of the nicest Torro Rosso cars to date BUT, why Red Bull branding instead of Torro Rosso? Kind of strange. Guess now there will officially be 4 "Red Bulls" on the grid, unless this is just a launch thing and will be Torro Rosso moving forward. ..? They've always carried R...

Re: Damon Hill & Jacques Villeneuve Glorious Appreciation Th

I agree with the OP except for the part of 'MS's Dastardly tactic'. Michael stuffed up, he freaked out and kept going, Damon was impatient and tried to overtake and collided. If Damon had of waited 1 more corner he would have been a 2x WDC. MS in '97 though was inexcusable and him being disqualifie...

The Jim Clark plaque, if I haven't lost my mind and forgotten where I saw it three years ago, is in a space just outside turn two which is not in the forest. It's there with a memorial to Patrick Depailler and Bert Hawthorne. I think it's been moved a couple of times and is not at the spot where he...

I wonder, this is the first time I read or hear about Hill catching Schumacher. Can we find the lap times somewhere? Not that it changes what happened, but it would be interesting to check. I don't have the lap chart (maybe I'll check the race when I get home) but here's some supporting evidence - ...

Re: The most villainous thing an F1 driver has ever done?

Why would he accomplish nothing? He was catching Schumacher, his car was fast and the incident happened in lap 35 out of 81. He had 46 laps left. They didn't have DRS, but they could still overtake back then. And Hill was no slouch. He wasn't catching Schumacher. Quite the contrary, prior the accid...

Incredible drive from Lewis today. Well done also by Kimi, I think he now has the record for most podiums in Hungary? Nah I think Hill is still ahead on that. Kimi, Schumacher and Senna all have 7 podiums in Hungary. I read that this is the record, how many does Hill have ? 5. 1st in 1993, 2nd in 1...

He was the only driver NOT to get lapped by Senna that day. Your point being? He messed up spain 1996, yes, but Schumi messed up Monaco 1996. Your point being? Ralf profited from the safety car and was right behind Hill because of that, he was more than 20 seconds behind before the SC. Also, Hill h...
