Re: The Official Kimi Räikkonen thread

Watching the news after last race I got a feeling reading between the lines that "Luke the bigboss" was a little disturbed by this most-unmotivated-driver-who's-reputation-they-so-eagerly-wanted-to-destroy is getting all this attention. Could you point me to any article or video that supports this ...

Re: Fan of the sport or fan of just 1 driver?

I'd like to say I'm an F1 fan, because I'm totally into the technical aspects and have been watching races for almost 20 years now, but the number of actual races I watched during Kimi's absence is embarrassing. It was the first time in my life I had no active driver to root for, and I kind of stopp...

BOOM, translation. I see Nicole hasn't been around for a while, so I thought I might pick something to translate. Not the greatest pick, I must say, an interview with a Robertson, but mildly interesting all the same. [Left out some things we all know already.] Hidden emotions Steve and David Roberts...

Re: The Official Kimi Räikkonen thread

I agree, but by watching 2nd SC restart, Kimi just inches away from Alonso, where or how the Lotus got the speed from?. I think those fast laps were all Kimi. When there's uncertainty about grip levels, like after a safety car period, he's able to instantly find the limit and stay there, whereas ot...

Re: The Official Kimi Räikkonen thread

Not trying to pick an argument but IMO it doesn't show that FA was closing the gap by lap 36. KR was opening a steady lead and FA only had one lap where the difference was just over a tenth and then the safety car intervened. After that Kimi opened the gap again until lap 47, when FA finally starte...

Re: The Official Kimi Räikkonen thread

As a whole i think this season has showed that Lotus has lacked the winning attitude here. Team and it's boss should always be looking up for a win, especially for a team that Lotus has been this season. It just could be that Kimi has brought a bit of that winner attitude by not settling for second...
