Did you go, what was it like and who attended if you don't mind answering.

Zoom Auction

Has anyone been to the F1 Zoom Auction that is held in Jan/Feb each year in London?

It's a charity event which often gets picked up by the tabloids for its celebrity guests.

Wondered how you got invited, what it's about..?

Re: Ron's gone then

It seems clear the Ron & Mansor had a major falling out about something several years ago which appears to be personal rather than business related.

What was it about?

Peter Windsor - The Racers Edge

What happened to the weekly show, which was formerly The Flying Lap?

Peter is quiet on twitter mostly now too?

Silverstone Six (F1)

Anyone know what the Silverstone Six hospitality is like for F1? All food and drink included, but not sure what the views and access like as the pics are not that good on the website.

Any help/pics appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Who was your favourite F1 Commentator Pairing?

John Waston and Ben Edwards from F1 Digital Plus on Sky in 2002. Much better than Sky's coverage now!

I like Legard too, but Brundle made it clear he didn't like JL from the start, so he made hard work of it. Looking forward to JL being back on 5Live this year for a few races, he's a great guy.

Re: Alguersuari to commentate!

The 5LiveF1 job was offered to and accepted by John 'Wattie' Watson, the BBC then told him he wouldn't be getting it as Jamie was available. Pretty poor from the BBC!
