F1 without Ferrari is unimaginable. Ferrari & McLaren are the history makers, record breakers and legend makers of this sport.
But F1 would survive without either of them because f1 is about more than a team.

@iamo I think Mansell is being a bit revisionist there. I remember watching Brazil 1981 when Williams repeatedly put out the "Jones 1 Reut 2" pit sign after Carlos turned off his radio, and Reuteman was left alone on the podium looking very gloomy after he won the race. I also remember watching the...

I am still trying to understand why FA chose to do things the way he did. Sure Ferrari didn't provide him with a great car to fight for the WC that much we all can agree. Why did FA make his position known to Ferrari unless he had a place to go? I am of the opinion that he most likely had a deal in...

If I was Rosberg, I would firstly ensure I have a race setup even if that means qualifying 2nd, just to give myself a edge which I think I need as Ham is very fast over race distance. No point qualifying first if you cant keep the lead. For Rosberg, it has to be maximum attack every single race as h...

Was Rosberg but I'm much less confident now - not because the points gap is big but because I think Nico is throwing it away. He can beat Lewis but he's taking risks he doesn't even need to now with that stupid overtaking move in Russia. He did the hard part and then stuffed his braking point - AGA...

Especially if Lewis displays pace advantage all weekend. With hindsight, it would have been perfect for him to take an extra engine at this race and crui...

If Nico had kept his calm and done what he could and is talented enough to achieve it should be Nico 7-7 Lewis in wins. As Bahrain, Spain and Spa were there for the taking for him.
But maybe that's the difference between a Champion and a excellent driver like Nico.
