Re: 2023 Australian Grand Prix Race Thread

Sainz deserved a penalty for that, the question is why is he getting one that happened on a lap that the FIA won't take into consideration for the final standings? I swear the FIA has managed to make a mockery of the rules in the last couple of years. The bar gets lower and lower as each season pass...

Re: How many GPs will Red Bull win this year?

I think asking how many they WON'T win would've been a more appropiate question. Jokes aside , I've went with 20 mainly because I believe they will either be affected by reliability or some freak weather / SC at one point during the season. Having a 23 races season is bonkers. The calendar was fine ...

I guess we will see some more Leclerc mistakes. It's hard if you have to drive against your strategy team race-by-race-by-race ... Oddschecker has Lewis 13/17 vs Max 5/4 for the drivers' championship. I know he's on a hot streak, but that seems pretty bullish on Lewis to me given he (probably) needs to win both races. Max sends Bottas to another dimension into Descida do Lago and cruises to the chequered flag. Mercedes resort to team orders to swap Bottas with Hamilton for P2. Sainz finishes in a solid 4th place while Perez's car suffers some issues.

Let's see how bad my prediction age.
