Re: 2015 12th team entry.

I don't think any 'luxury' names will come in, seems too big a risk as their reputation could take a hit - particularly as a young team. Only real hope is for a Red Bull like venture where someone with deep pockets and a 'wacky' company steps in and does something good. At the moment its hard to see...

I'm not sure Vettel not caring is any reason to not debate it.

Vettel was clearly the better driver in the blown exhaust era. That's about all we know.

Re: Does race engineers affect drivers performance?

I've recently watched the F1 2013 season review done by the BBC. Very good news, he has earned his place, kept his head down and brought home the car, sometimes in a very decent way. Nice to see him this year as well. I'm not buying this at all. He hasn't earned his place, his dad's connections got him a place. He brought the car home, generally in last whilst c...

Re: Custom Driver Numbers To Make a Return - Confirmed

I like the (not new) idea, but really for it to have any significance, we need to be able to clearly see the number decal on the car, IMHO. The introduction of permanent driver numbers also comes with the obligation (written in the rules) that said numbers must be "clearly visible" on both the nose...

I have to admit even though i try not to be nationalistic when watching F1, that as a finn, I notice myself really looking forward to seeing how Bottas does against Massa next year. With the '10 and '11 seasons notwithstanding, there has been a finn at a top end team every season since the mid-90's...

BUT will use 22 Has this been confirmed or is it just speculation? I haven't found any official source stating JB has gone for No 22. He's tweeted it. Why's Hamilton going with 44? Doesn't seem to be a known reason but it definitely holds some prominence to him. The Monaco helmet had the ball on 44...

I think they should use numbers from 1 to 22 (including 13). I see no reason to go beyond numbers that are above the amount of competitors. Not related to the accident but they have to be more immune to risk than a normal person, it comes with the gig.

That's not to say they don't want to manage that risk or would prefer it wasn't there - but they will be less fearful of a lot of things.
