Re: Is Magnussen a more dangerous driver than Verstappen?

I think Max's moves are more precise and calculated to cause maximum drama for his opponent. K-Mag doesn't seem to me to have the same level of precision with his defence. His moves look a little more random, which also maximises his opponent's drama. Basically, Max is like a stream of bat's p|ss. H...

He will go to Mercedes with Hamilton. An insurance policy for if and when Hamilton leaves. Ocon to partner Ricciardo when that happens. +1  Succession planning should at least be being considered by both Merc and Ferrari. I don’t expect it to happen, but it’s not out of the question for ei...

Re: when, and to where, will the Ricciardo move take place?

The problem for Dan is that RBR have a couple of RB family drivers (Sainz and Gasly) waiting in the wings to take his seat that would complement Max, which I guess is why they're piling on the time pressure. The problem for RBR is that while Dan is not as ultimately fast as Max, he does have stella...

He HAS to leave. If he doesn’t he’s going to get webbered by Marco and Max.

Frankly, I think he’d be better off at Renault than staying at RBR; at least Renault are in charge of their own power unit destiny....

I agree, the outrage directed to Kimi was way out of proportion.

I guess it's just the way things in the Internet age where keyboard warriors first instinct is to pile on with outrage and bile.

I just listed all his podiums, Monaco he did well but just ended up on the best strategy. If your team splits strategy all through the year, sometimes it will favour you sometimes it won't. With Max now stitched up until 2020 are Red Bull going the Full Webber on Dan?

I must admit I find it really hard to believe that they’d nobble their #2, but then from here on RB really need Max to continue to dominate not only in terms of qualifying but also on the scoreboard.

I agree with that sentiment, a driver that has collisions can learn to stop having them / take less risk. A slower driver can not become faster. Yes, and no. At the moment Max looks faster over one lap, but consider this.
