Re: Lotus apologise for 'two men kissing' tweet

I was so surprised and pleased when they posted the original tweet - I don't think you'd get any other F1 team doing that and I thought it was a great gesture on Lotus's part. When I saw the retraction and apology I just shook my head in disappointment. I understand why they retracted it, but it jus...

I preferred his 2013 one. The black, red and white looked good. The yellow added in for 2014 doesn't really do it for me. It looks a bit too...busy. With all the sponsors. But it's not bad.

I know it's only rumour but I'd have mixed feelings about MW going to Lotus, potentially a good move for Lotus but not so great for MW giving up an alternative role at McLaren to take what will likely be an unpaid job at a shaky team. http://translate.google.nl/translate?sl=fr&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl...

a radical nose design doesn't mean they will win the title. Just as Williams about that. They will be on the back foot too after missing the first four days of testing in such a critical year for rule changes. I don't think Lotus will be near title winning form tbh. I would love it if somehow, despite Boullier jumping ship and all these financial rumours, that Lotus managed a genius design and produced a car capable of winning the title. And the former 'first-lap-nutcase' Grosjean to be the one to do it.

Series 3 of Sherlock was... not as good. I seemed to see it all coming, and considering the fact I couldn't was the main reason the show attracted me. I don't necessarily agree that they are there on merit of their talents alone. Steven Fletcher cost Sunderland £12m from a Championship side. Javier Hernandez cost Man Utd £6m. Is Steven Fletcher really twice as good as Hernandez? That to me suggests quite a bit of homegrown inflation on the deal. ...

All of them second rate players punching above their weight IMO. There's more to the Premiership than the top 6/8 teams though. Grosjean is a bit of a Massa to me. Generally a good qualifier but his racecraft is next to non-existent at times (while with Massa - all the time). And that surge in form in late 2013 is a bit misleading, the Lotus was no doubt the 2nd best car on the grid. I do agree that the Lotus was probably t...

It's hard to really tell when it's a written interview, but I doubt the quote from Romain was said with any ill-feeling or anything - you can't be sure from the context but to me it's probably just some dry humour and a bit of an exaggeration, as I'm sure it wasn't the only thing he said to him in t...
