Re: Who is favourite for the championship?
How dare you spoil this thread with facts? :-P I was so sure about Piastri, he looked as cool as a cucumber in the first half of the year. But now it really has turned 180, hasn't it? I feel for him, but also, it is up to him to get out of his slump. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to be able to. To...

Re: A mandatory two pit stop rule across all races for 2026?
Why would they act differently than the rest of the "powers" around the world ? They know the problems come mainly from the cars (size, aero, etc.) so they'll try anything to avoid to tackle them.

Re: 2025 Mexican Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Thread
Norris is a mile ahead of Piastri. Around a track like Mexico 0.7s is huge. On the onboards, Piastri just looked like he couldn't get grip. I am wondering if McLarens development has taken the car a little away from Piastri. However you need to adapt. If i remember well, Piastri was not doing wonde...

Re: Who is favourite for the championship?
If giving percentages I’d go something like: Piastri 40% Norris 40% Verstappen 20% Despite his momentum a lot still has to go right for Verstappen as it stands. A Piastri win and Verstappen DNF this weekend basically ends it for Verstappen. As it stands, the lot that has to go right for Verstappen ...

Re: Official Max Verstappen thread
Let's see what it looks like using the "hat trick" (pole, win, fastest lap) instead of grand slam, so excluding leading all laps. Not surprising that Max and Lewis move up the list (as does Schumacher). This removes situations where they started on pole, and won but perhaps pitted before their team...

Why did they have to fire him immediately. They did not even wait for the end of the year or Summer break. Anyways, Max is the most important asset of RBR, more important than people who make the car or the leadership. He is the only one that scores points for them. But I am not sure sacking Horner...

What did you all think? I was open to it going in and initial impressions were it could spice up the ususal procession. Is it completely outside the realm of possibility that Max is transferred to the Racing Bull car if Lawson out performs Tsunoda? That's good news. Hopefully this is a step towards having a full grid again in a few years. Considering the size of the current (and next) cars, I'm not sure a 26 cars grid is desirable... I honestly doubt the size of the cars matters all that much, but a few more returns to normal would definitely...
