The Alpine racing cars (rallye, endurance and single seaters), as well as the ones you could buy as your daily bone-shaker, have allways been branded Alpine-Renault or Renault-Alpine. It makes no sense, especially for the French, to call them just Alpine... Except for marketing purpose (as usual).

Amateur hour... I don't think we!ll seee another Mugello GP. Or may be when the drivers get a true racing licence. I don't see why any of this is Mugello specific. Never said it was Mugello specific. But for a first it's a success, and I'm not sure the "powers" would want to renew the exercise.

It doesn't even matter if Vettel ends getting spanked by Stroll Junior, I'm not sure motor racing is of any interest to people rich enough to buy James Bond's car (and drink only vintage Bollinger every now and then ?).

At the end of last year, Vettel and Charles were quite closely matched. There was only 24 points between them but Vettel scored in less races. The qualifying wasn't a whitewash either. Obviously something has happened since then... For the first part of the season Vettel still enjoyed a N°1 status ...

The only reason to hire Vettel is for publicity. We are Aston Martin and our leading driver is a 4 times WDC (note that if the team was still named Racing Point next years, the replacement of one driver by Vettel wouldn't even be considered). That could prove to be counterproductive, the 4 times WDC...
