Re: WhatsApp group for real time F1 banter among fans
Throwing this in there as a related aside.... I'm working on building an app around F1 that acts as a second screen during races so fans and friends can interact with each other, which sounds similar (eerily so) to WhatsApp. The app is currently at www.sportable.is, and I'd appreciate any feedback y...

Re: what F1 apps are you guys using?
I use ESPN's app on the iPhone, and usually follow the race with ESPN's live timing. It's not really that live, updating every 30 seconds, but the info is good and you can see who's where. Re: Grid Penalty for dangerous pit stops. Too far?
You win as a team you lose as a team. F1 is a team sport. It takes something like 70 crew members at the track to grid a top car (Sauber quotes 47 operational and 20 press, catering, etc). Every one of these people owns a portion of a win and, in the event of a mistake, a portion of blame.

Re: Rear Turning Wheels
From an engineering point of view, is pure rear wheel steering more unstable? If so why? I think we're just used to front wheel steering and the sensation of rear wheel steering is weird. But if we use objective parameters such as the speed at which the car loses grip or speed at which the car roll...

Re: Time to replace Grosjean?
Well look's like Grosjean is back to his old habits. The commentator on BBC was mentioning he's on a 3 race contract which is up for renewal after this race (no idea if thats true or not) so we could conceivably see the end of him. What do you all think? Personally I think someone else deserves tha...
