Re: Bernie considering "Grand Slam" races with more points
Why should one race win count for more than another? I know there were non-championship races in the past, but I thought that was stupid too . There's already enough disparity among teams and the playing field is nowhere close to level, please don't ruin it any further. And coming from Bernie, I ca...

Re: DDRS who will copy this now?
The biggest issue with this is that to copy it the other teams will have to go through new front load crash tests to ensure the nose section is strong enough after adding venting through it. Another issue would come from the fact they may have to modify the chassis to run the pipes to the front whic...

Personally I like Balestre when I watched the movie Senna, he had this Dictator like personality "My decision is the best decision" I think he had style. Re: Vettel - Clearly not a true world champ
Unsubstantiated comments that don't look at all the facts. Vettel was using a different exhaust setup to Webber, trialing that which didn't work during testing - effectively being used as a guinea pig and trying to make it work, yet he's only 0.3s off Webber's Q2 time. Let's not get it twisted - if...

Re: MERCEDES...Podium or Not?
They may decide to go for glory just to get a result. Wouldnt be surprised if they sacrifice the driver that is second after first lap to allow the leader to drive away into the distance. A 30sec lead would help negate the tire wear issues with a free extra pitstop

Re: Are Red Bull and Lotus just being childish?
To me it seems to open a can of worms that is best kept closed. Here we have an aerodynamic device (valve) being operated by the driver. It is being allowed because the primary reason for the driver moving the valve is that the valve is moved as part of the DRS. There is supposed to be a ban on aer...

That's precisely why I don't like having major car manufacturers in the sport. They are only in it for the short term gain and will pull out pretty swiftly when things aren't going their way. Well, last time Merc pulled out of motor-sport was after an acident, infact a horrific one. Thats true but ...

A lot of them do end up in collectors garages or on show. Some of the collectors enter the cars into historics races and either drive themselves or hire an ex-racer etc to drive for them. Ferrari showed last year where their priorities lay in Germany. Any driver going to Ferrari now will end up playing No.2 and kill their careers. Perez has a great future ahead of him leading a team. I don't get this whole myth of Alonso destroying his team mate's careers. Everyboy saying don't go there, you will just be Alonso's b*tch etc. etc. It simply isn't true.
