Re: Christian Horner Allegations Thread

Why would he need to beg for forgiveness from Red Bull - honestly what did he actually do that was that bad from the company perspective? The biggest issue is its bad PR but that is not his fault it is the fault of the leak From a business/racing perspective, this will probably blow over. From a pe...

Re: Christian Horner Allegations Thread

I'm pretty sure most people have witnessed some form of aggressive or controlling behaviour from managers at some point in their life. In some cases, that's what makes them a good leader. However there comes a point where that 'aggressive and controlling' behaviour crosses the line and turns into ex...

IIRC it is impossible to strip away titles after the FIA gala has been held? That being the case it's a complete sham given that it takes 10 months to audit the accounts, would a same outlook be given for a major breach, we can't strip titles. I think track limits should be enforced with a zero tolerance on the inside of the track. i.e. so that the track distance cannot be shortened. On the outside I feel that this is more of a grey area and that there should be no track limits, with the single exception that you cannot go off track to fa...

That first lap corner cut complaint isnt happening. Red bull know the other outcome was a crash such as vettel verstappen china In China Verstappen was behind at the apex, in Abu Dhabi he was ahead. A crash, instead of Hamilton avoiding Verstappen, would have forced the stewards to investigate. Whe...

I too am disappointed but not surprised

I suspect that behind the scenes an agreement has been struck between the FIA and Mercedes that goes far beyond what was published by both parties. There'd have to be something pretty substantial in it (beyond financial) for Mercedes in my opinion.

Definite YES Because if they don't over something as big as Championship deciding decision, the FIA/Race director will simply do it over and over again. The FIA (if they've got any sense) should go and make Mercedes/Hamilton a reasonable offer before it even makes it to court. And this offer should ...

Not surprising Mercedes have requested a review given the onboard wasn't made available at the time. I'd be surprised if they penalised it though. The problem actually lies with the sc. The best way to clear the water off the track is to let the cars run at a higher speed.
