Re: Renault's F1 division up for sale?

I wonder what would happen if Renault quit. FIA forces Mercedes or Ferrari to supply Red Bull? Or tells Honda to suddenly supply not 1, but 4 teams?

There are 4 Renault teams, plus 2 new entries, FIA would need to find 6 engine sets or F1 would suffer a small earthquake...

Anyway no, Mercedes will not win every title in the next 12 years. Just like Red Bull didn't or Ferrari before them or Williams before them or McLaren before them and so on You can bet that if 2011 aero package was frozen for 12 years with minor changes allowed, RBR would win it all, so I fail to s...

I'm assuming by this, he is talking about Lewis' qualifying laps? If I was Lewis, I'd be doing the same- I don't want my team mate getting the benefit of simply looking at my data to improve, and I think that should work both ways. I do feel that Nico learns more from Lewis' data than the other way...

Re: Williams did their best to lose the race today

If they pitted at the same time as the Mercs they would have been very vulnerable towards the end. How so? The only car that could have caught them was Alonso, and he said after the race "Massa could have lapped me if he wanted, when I caught up to him, he effortlessly pulled away 2 seconds from me".

Interestingly the Vettel/Red Bull-Renault's dominance 2010-2013 did not manage to join the elite 5- or 6-time winners above here, while the Schumacher/Ferrari managed the feat twice, in 2002 and 2004.
