Honda needs to lose their NIH ethos and behave in the proper F1 way - hire/poach/steal some talent from Brackley and some ERS know-how from MTG. Oh and convince Ross to come back for his 3rd comeback. This sort of painful waste of great talent, vast sums of wealth, formerly great reputations has dro...

A thought I've just had is whether it would be worth them breaking the testing ban - are there now properly defined repercussions for this? When Mercedes ignored the ban and ran an illegal test in 2013 in order to get a head start on 2014 the FIA just gave them a slap on the wrist. Is there anythin...

Many well considered and reasoned responses....this won't be one of them. First, admit I expected far better performance out of the gate from Honda. From Honda's past engines expected a very powerful, but probably fragile power unit... But, I'm shocked at the ongoing abysmal level of performance/rel...

Secretly I hope the mclaren is a dog and jb shows alonso up I think he's much more likely to do that if it isn't a dog; Alonso is a boss in a poor car and JB usually struggles, whereas in a quick car he can really show his stuff and maybe even take the fight to Fred. We can always hope 8)

McLaren owes me. And I owe Button. Ergo, McLaren owes Button. If I have to explain it, it will takes hours. Probably days and we'll all miss the first and last great double-trouble points race. Either F1 is trying to actually reduce costs or it isn't. We'll forget for the moment the carbon impact of shipping the whole circus around the world to half empty stadiums, which makes the whole policy nonsense anyway. Engine manufacture is comparatively cheap. Engine development is horribly expen...

Maybe RBR just buys Renault. The F1 engine division - Red Bullachrome. Then they're a works team too. In name as well as operation. But, that assumes a long term commitment from Red Bull. Will they still be in F1 10 years on? Not sure.

Not true. For example, one could easily say that such things like not winning any championships for 8 years when having the opportunity to do so in 3 of those years should only happen to an average F1 driver, not the very best. Yet it has happened to Alonso. I don't buy the "bad car" excuse for 200...

If I was cynical about F1, which sometimes happens, despite being the purest, most noble and highest form of motorsport, I might conclude that this is just more pre-season PR fodder.
