Re: 2020 Russian Grand Prix Race Thread
I just voted Bottas driver of the day. I understood from a previous race that the race winner perforce has to be driver of the day. Or is that just when Hamilton wins? :-D Exactly what did Bottas do to be a driver of the day, except being handed the win by the stewards? I vote driver of the day - t...

Re: 2020 Russian Grand Prix Race Thread
Hamilton complaining, maybe you should read a rule book. Yup Handing stupid penalties for nothing only makes it look like it's done on purpose to handicap races and WDC. F1 has been a sport where drivers were much more rule breaking in the past, during races, doing stupid and crazy things (by today...

Pathetic. Then they wonder why interest in F1 is sinking. Nobody wants to watch races being decided by stupid rules and stewards.

Re: 2020 Russian Grand Prix Race Thread
F1 is becoming more and more a circus. Pathetic stewards. Why give such penalty for something that is not even during the race and is not danger to anyone. Such pathetic attempts to bring back some competition in the WDC.

I don't excuse the guys at the back, just saying that Bottas has his share in the cause of the incident. According to the rules the leader, who essentially becomes the safety car decides when to restart, BUT overtakes may start to happen when cars pass the safety line car. Where is it on this track...

Re: 2020 Tuscan GP Race thread
What Bottas did was stupid. Even if he did not break any regulation, still it was stupid. Never seen a pilot do this, on the start line in the moment the safety car leaves. People have to understand that things happen in split of a second and a lot of things are done by instinct and by expectation, ...

Re: It's not the car, it's Lewis!
I think by now, even the most bitter and hateful fans, even not admitting it openly, have realized that Hamilton is the greatest of this generation and the one reaching for GOAT, rivaling with MS for this title. Is it the car or the driver? It's a fluid mixture, they are both important. The car more...

Tracks like this one should be removed from the calendar. What a bore. Nobody can overtake anybody unless +2 sec faster. Glad I didn't waste time to watch it all and slept through most of it. Re: 2019 Hungarian Grand Prix Race Thread
What Merc did with the decision to pit Lewis shows something very important. They have absolute faith in the fact they have the best driver and possibly the only one that could do what he did. They pitted him and gave him cart-blanche for full hammertime and he delivered. He would have probably over...

We need Hamilton to pass bottas of we want a race for the lead. Bottas will just sit and follow If not for Verstappen sleep, Hamilton would have gotten past Botas, who didn't have the greatest start too, but that fail from Max saved him. Honestly, getting tired with all that moaning, complaining and lies from Vettel. Merc screwed up again in Monaco and only luck didn't cost them the race this time, that's why Hamilton was a bit grumpy at the end, cause they put him without much need in a very tight spot.

Because there isn't any logic in doing it. There isn't any logic in considering any other driver at the moment at all. I think there is a hidden play here and though many of you surely have read it when it was out, many have forgotten it - VW (AUDI). There was, not so long ago, a notion that VW is considering entering F1 (as AUDI most probably) BUT not at the current state of regulation in F1 and that they are watch...
