Re: 2017 US Grand Prix Race Thread
Vettel also went off track with 4 wheels to get in front of LH at start but this is a bit different. It was 1 lap, just after start and Vettel was already a bit ahead all this mostly due to LH not starting at his best than to an overtake maneuver. Max just cut the track to overtake Kimi which is kin...

Merc will flop it. Doubt they expected Vettel will ruin tyres so fast but if they don't react well it might cost the fist place for Lewis.

Re: 2017 US Grand Prix Race Thread
Why are Merc almost always so bad on strategy, slow on reacting and taking the right decisions. They wasted a precious 5 seconds lead that Hamilton has gained and almost lost the 1st pos for him with their late pit.

Re: Vettel / Verstappen / Raikkonen Clash! Who to blame?
I just watched it several times on slow motion. Vettel just torpedoes like a mad man towards Max, who slightly tries to go left to avoid obvious incoming contact, in the same moment, Kimi moves in a straight line but at that moment clips slightly to the right himself, Vettel and Kimi just squeeze Ma...

10 Second Stop/Go for Seb. Could have been longer. And seb has to gall to ask, "What did I do, dangerous driving?" Vettel is an idiot. Vettel is not an idiot. He's a blithering idiot. Hopefully in addition to the stop and go penalty, Charlie assesses him an additional 10 position grid penalty for n...

I am pretty sure if it was not for Merc to chocolate fudge cake up LH's race again, the stewards wouldn't even give Vettel a penalty.
They are just washing their hands now with this. What a circus.

Re: 2017 Azerbaijan Grand Prix Race Thread
Can't quite believe people are defending Vettel here... I'm a huge Vettel fan, and while I don't believe he wanted to hit Hamilton and risk spoiling his own car too, he did lose control of his car in rage, and hence deserves punishment. But so does Hamilton. What? It's Vettel's job to keep distance...

Wow, wtf is this clown Vettel doing?
This deserves disqualification.
Going next to a car, under SC, to deliberately hit it...wow.
If they don't put a sever penalty on Vettel all they do from now on will be questionable.

Interesting quali. Good lap from Vettel or just bad from Botas? It looks like at least for quali cars are not so far apart. What will happen tomorrow i think is, at start Vettel will take over first. Re: Nico Rosberg - 2016 World Champion
At the start of the season i said that Merc will make, in their last year of total dominance, a german pilot the WDC - well done and executed. Their stupid order in the last race proved my suspicions that they wanted and (probably arranged) for Nico to be a WDC. If it was all fair they would have sh...

Re: Hamilton: "why me?"
There are 8 Mercs on the grid, but this does not in anyway mean they all are being pushed the same. Aero differences will make significant differences to how the engine runs. This is cooling of course, but also the fact that the Merc factory team has the fastest car, it is likely that they get on t...

Re: Hamilton: "why me?"
Rosberg has been lucky not having the reliability issues Lewis had, but so what. People seem to think the WDC is a drivers championship alone. It's never been that. It's always a combination of driver and car and having reliability issues your team mate doesn't have is just part of the sport. Footb...

Re: Hamilton: "why me?"
I believe that the way particular drivers drive used to have a big effect back in the day. These days the engineers would be all over it and could point out where the driver is going wrong. Lewis is good enough to adapt to anything the engineers tell him and I don't believe it's his driving style. ...

At the start of the season i said that this is the last chance for Merc to make a German pilot champ because this is their last year of domination and that coincidences doesn't happen just like that in big corporations where lots and lots of money are put on the table.

The faviouritism towards Rosberg couldn't be more clear than today. (They will probably prove me wrong though). So much drama and over-analyzing over a simple human way of thinking. Rosberg has been beaten wheel to wheel so many times by Hamilton that he must have a complex already. He is leading in WDC and sees how Hamilton will beat him on track again. What does Rosberg do - crash into Hamilton with the tho...

Re: The Official Lewis Hamilton thread
I'm telling you, Lewis cannot win if he doesn't sort out his starts. He'll be punished too severely with substantially lower placed finishes, and combined with his PU situation he just won't get it done. The only way he can win the WDC is by fixing his starts. He won't always be on pole to have the...

Also, a small aside. Hamilton is better than Rosberg, however... How much better is he really? His two first starts were not bad luck, they were Merc failure with his clutch as admitted by them, on which they are supposed to work with Daimler.
So far LH has been plagued by bad luck, and mechanical failures, nothing more.
