Re: Table of 2014 FOM payouts to teams
In what way are Red Bull related to F1's history? Is it just an inflow of money to try and keep them happy and stay in F1? Don't really get that Red Bull should take preference over a team like Force India who would be a lot more efficient with that sort of money. Race wins in previous editions (3 ...

Re: Rating Vettel through 1st Quarter of 2015 Season
Damn, that's pretty high standards. So by that logic who gets 9/10 this year? Nobody really. I'd say Hamilton, Alonso and Ricciardo were 8.5-8.7s last season. I think Ricciardo is up there as he's been the fastest Renault engined car apart from in Malaysia where he had worse brake issues. Hamilton:...

Looks like teams in line to get out is getting bigger than to enter!

Issue with PF1 website
Off late PF1 website isn't working properly, all the related links are of previous year and also race count down is also incorrect. I thought that this was fixed, but it isn't.

Re: 2015 Chinese Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
I really don't get it. Räikkönen does well in every single session apart from q3. Practice is promising, race is good, Q1 and Q2 are good as well, but nah, not Q3. Fourth is on the cards for tomorrow, but there's that podium that's needed. He isn't the same guy that I grew up watching, but he is st...

Looks like Mercedes will run one or two flying laps in a session and try to save the tyres for race.

Much better Idea would be to declare winner by lottery system! Force India would still complain about high costs!

Re: If F1 really did 'collapse'
If F1 goes Kaput, than I have loads of back up plan, I would turn to MotoGP, Nascar
and even a local horse race!! (which I haven't done until now)

Bernie Ecclestone - Vettel wasn't a very good World Champion
What did Bernie Ecclestone meant when he drummed up that vettel wasn't a very good world champion? This was a very interesting read from PF1: Q: (Gary Chappell – Daily Express) Sebastian, according to Bernie Ecclestone, you weren’t a very good World Champion, you didn’t represent the sport very well...

My vote for Hamilton, although I usually back Vettel to do well. Last weeks win was due to track & Mercedes absurd tactics, but future tracks suit them a lot.

Re: Seb Vettel...Changing my mind...
I have liked seb vettel since his TR days and each year he improved a lot. People / Fanboys started to hate him more since his overtake on Webber. Most consider that he was good because of a good car, but they forget TR days and early RB days and how well he used to race. Now, with Ferrari perceptio...

Re: 2015 Malaysian GP Race Thread
If Vettel can get first place with this car, just imagine what Alonso could have done with it. Forget this, When Alonso had a car and was fighting for Championship he lost to Vettel. Alonso was there, but both didn't deliver, chapter closed. Now time for new chapter, if's n but's will remain as the...

Re: Looks like Alonso messed up leaving Ferrari
Its better he left Ferrari. It gives both a chance to look back at their performance and make necessary changes. And until now looks like Ferrari have done it. But we have to wait some time for Alonso, Honda and McLaren to show true pace and potential.

Re: Ferrari's targets for 2015
Ferrari are certainly on track to achieving the targets of 2015, this result was a welcome for the team. But they won mainly because of SC and poor strategy by Mercedes, they should keeps their heads down work much harder to beat or match Mercedes at each and every race of 2015.

I would have chosen all but one (races in non-traditional f1 countries), 3 I chose: Bernie - All the negotiations for the races and team agreements are done or thought out by Bernie, with a view to benefit his bank balances rather than for the benefit of F1 High Cost of tickets - Personally I had to...

Re: engine development loophole
Mercedes advantage isn't only due to better PU, also due to better aero. The main differentiator was 2014, where they had the best package (compared to williams, red bull) and also had more time for 2015 to make drastic updates to their package (when compared to PU of Ferrari & Renault, and aero pac...
