Re: Let's talk Monaco

Barring any errors, Merc should win this by 20secs from the fastest Bull. They won last year with a non-dominant car; and Schumi got pole two years ago in a car even WORSE than last year's. That mighty low speed traction from their FRIC suspension should see them wrap up monaco 1-2 style. Contructor...

Alonso vs Senna

Simple really. The best drivers in their respective eras. Lets imagine they are both team mates in Mercedes GP 2014; who would win the title?

Best Driver Pairing (after 4 races)

I remember a lot of people saying before the season started, that it would be Alonso and Kimi. Is that still the case?

EDIT: it's now been made into a poll. Dedicated to f1madman

Bearing that in mind, it's hard not to see Vettel, Hamilton and...MALDONADO at the top :D ; Alonso, Button and Rosberg come close behind.

Re: Rosberg perhaps feeling a little demoralised?

Was he disappointed? Yes. Demoralised? No! Lewis won't win all wheel to wheel battles between them (doubt it anyway), and neither will Nico. Making assumptions after three races feels too premature, and has probably been done by fans too eager to draw conclusions. Can he beat Lewis over the course o...

Current Driver Intelligence Ranking

Driver intelligence has been played out by our F1 media to be of utmost importance this year; even more than other years gone past. A driver should be able to manage their fuel, tyres, throttle application, overtaking, strategy, engines; and all this in the heat of battle  :smug: Some drive...

Top 5 pecking order after Malaysia GP 2014

I would have expected Mclaren to be further up based on winter testing...but with Magnussen's incidents today you never know how far off they really are from Mercedes and Redbull. Here's my shot: 1. Mercedes (clearly) 2. Redbull (again clearly) 3. Williams (unfortunate qualy positions cost them) 4. ...

Re: WDC 2014, Rosberg or Hamilton

After looking Rosberg's stats against LH, i began to think that 2011 F1 season was not an anomaly. If anything, 2007 season seems like out-of-routine right now in 2014. It is no surprise banning of Traction Control did no favors for some of the drivers out there. It seems that great consistency of ...

Re: Pirelli: Mercedes form has nothing to do with change in

I think we can safely say Mercedes tire issues are gone. They may not be the best on their tires, or even have the best race pace. But they didn't suffer excessive degradation on the track yesterday. Maybe it would have been a different situation if the track was hotter.
