Re: Williams uninspiring driver options for 2018
Massa claims to know who Williams has chosen for 2018 but he won't give out the name & doesn't care if the driver chosen is the best option as he's leaving F1: http://www.planetf1.com/news/massa-knows-who-his-williams-successor-is/ This means behind closed doors, the decision has already been made....

Open for one of the others, personal would love to see Kubica given a chance if he's for enough and the insurance issues can be resolved.

Would turn this off now, but interested to see if Riccardo can challenge Lewis now.

Re: Rumour - Sainz will replace Palmer in Hungary?
I'd be surprised to see Renault make any firm decisions before they know for sure whether Kubica can make a comeback or not.
That's likely to come after he tests the 2017 car after the Hungarian GP.

Re: Renault & Palmer
Palmer seems to me to have had a pretty poor season last year and probably worse this year and is being out-performed by Hulkenberg.
I'm all for more British drivers in F1 but not just to make up the numbers which unfortunately is what he seems to be doing, would love to see Kubica back if he can.

Re: Robert Kubica makes single seater return
Just read that Kubica is set to replace Palmer for FP1 on Friday. Not sure how factually accurate that is so I wont post a link just yet, but I'll be keeping a close eye on this situation for sure. Renault denied last week that there were any plans to get Kubica in for FP1 this year, but who knows,...

Re: Is Sauber really that bad?
I suspect they're losing out also due to them having the 2016 Ferrari engine and not the 2017 model, you only have to look at how more competitive Ferrari are to see that there has to be a difference in performance between the two engines. Agree though its possible that Wehrlein isn't as great as hi...

Re: 2017 Bahrain in-season Test
To be fair Button might as well do a few laps in a 1996 Honda Prelude to get a feel for the McLaren, its probably going to be about as quick and reliable as the F1 car...

Re: Jules bianchi Japanese grand Prix aftermath thread
Hamilton on SkyF1 seems to suggest they've been told he's seriously injured. I'd expect teams and drivers to be better informed than the media or us at present.

Quite funny to watch the BBC in the middle of the Red Bull party but Skys team standing themselves on the outside of the crowd.
