Watching the 2016 Monte Carlo Rally while waiting for the start of this race. I've decided I want F1 to race in snow. Man, I wish they still showed rally in Canada. used to be really big in the town i'm in. Not anymore. I don't know if you guys get MAVTV in Canada, but that's where it airs down here.

Rosberg is generally underrated and even not treated particularly seriously by some, and yet he is a racer of obvious qualities who can win a World Championship even against a great team mate, and his rivalry with Hamilton has only made him stronger and even more formidable. I'm looking forward to ...

Re: F1 Team Payments Revealed 2016
The real question to ask is "Is Ferrari worth $70m to the sport?" Depends on the total value of the sport. How many billions do we reckon? The question we should be asking is are they worth $70m per year more than McLaren ? I disagree and think the real question we should be asking is are Ferrari, ...

Just another dumb thing that Hamilton wears to portray his image as anything but a Formula 1 driver. I really can't imagine he has many fans outside Britain. That extra money adds up to $295 million. Take out Mercedes' bonus since it comes from a reserve fund, then that's $260 million that could be split among the 10 teams. No wonder Sauber and Force India went to the EU competitions commission. They are basically getting screwed over to the tune of $26 ...

That is another great point. I don't think that the advocates of the "loosen up the rules!" argument understand just how fast racing cars can be with minimal regulation. Basically: 1. The most advanced technology 2. Wheel to wheel racing In F1, you can only pick one. Not true. I think #1 can lead t...

Totally agree with Lewis, and he has been saying this for a while now. Not sure how you can consider 2014 a fluke, he beat a 4xWDC over a season. 3 wins, repeat wins too, not one-offs. You look at last year, yes it wasn't his best year but 2014 was still there. Gunning for a win in Hungary - had he got past Rosberg cleanly it could have been another win and no one wou...

That seems like a reasonable list. There is undoubtedly some room for weaselling, but if the marshals take a reasonably strong and coherent stance on it from the beginning, that shouldn't be too bad. Of course, I'm not exactly expecting that to happen, but we'll see. It should certainly cut down on...

Fiki, I'd drop this one if I were you. You're not going to get anyone on-side and it's derailing a thread.
