Re: Hamilton having a rough week...

I'd rather have a fully drunk Lewis Hamilton on the roads than an average Suburban mum in a 4x4. It's a shame he had to use such wishy washy language though: ' mistakes happen to us all '. What does that even mean? You accept responsibility by saying 'I made the mistake' , not by saying the mistake...

That sort of description applies to many other people on the board as well (see some rabid Hamilton fanboys on the forum for instance). Simple matter of ignoring - absolutely no need to personally attack the individual.

Re: Bottas vs Massa

Am still struggling to understand the Bottas hype - sure, he is a decent driver, but future WDC material? I think not. I think there are at least half a dozen drivers on the grid today who are easily better than him, and a fair few who can arguably be considered better. Bottas is a journeyman driver...

Williams was never going to win this race, undercut or not. Once it started raining it was quite clear that the Mercs were in an entirely different league (and Bottas finished a minute behind the leader...even if he was 30 seconds up the road by the time the rain arrived (which is obviously highly i...

Rosberg and Vettel for the recovery drive, and Massa for the start. Special mention to Hamilton for the great pit call (although it is interesting that he takes full credit for this call, and yet remained so non-committal in his responses about the Monaco pit call). Question for some of the more knowledgeable folks around here - did the Ferrari upgrades get them closer? I know the TP was confident they worked, but did it really help them close the gap to Merc at all (in terms of laptime)?

Think about it this way: If Mercedes brought a new spec, would all their customers have to use a new PU? I was under the impression that they would indeed. Granted, I'm having doubts now. I don't think they have to - they can request for the new parts, but I don't think they necessarily have to.

Re: Should the Monaco GP be on the calendar?

I think Hamiltons complete inability to pass Vettel with a faster car and vastly newer tyres shows is why Monaco is a useless race circuit. he must have been in a 2 second per lap faster car, Rosberg was pulling away at 1.6 seconds a lap at the start with slightly old softs. Monaco needs ...

India has a nuclear program. I don't understand why Kvyat wasn't fastest through the speed trap. The car must have been much less draggy without a front wing. . Since he would lack downforce to make the corner, he would be braking much earlier, and consequently be a lot slower in the speed traps which are typically just before...

I'm not sure what was so great about 2012 either for Schumi. He did look quicker but finished with 49 points to Nico's 93. You don't finish with half your team mate's points because of back luck. Sure he had some but he also had two very silly crashes. Yes, but remember that the Merc scored most of...

I don't understand why everyone is being so harsh on Vettel.
