Re: 2025 British Grand Prix Race Thread

Just a couple of thoughts: Re the first safety car I’m sure Brundle mentioned something like; the safety car was called for reasons of visibility rather than surface condition therefore flagging the race or switching to wets would be questionable as the safety car period would help clear the track (...

Russell would be if he wasn't such a weasel. I am pretty sure that is a minority opinion here. Really? I think most people don't like Russell. That may be so, I did not consider it to be fair. I’m a bit late to the conversation on this one but did people have the same apparent dislike of Russell’s ...

He's starting to look broken. 1WYCAbRGf88 This is painful to watch. Does he not have some kind of a trainer/mentor ? I was thinkin...

Another bottle job from Norris.
Yep, I'm a Norris supporter but this is getting frustrating. On the other hand Piastri has one of the most unflustered and compassed temperaments on the entire grid (IMO), which really emphasizes Norris's vulnerability.

I’d love to vote Norris, but of the three he seems slightly more fragile. He needs to step up his race craft to maintain any advantage over Piastri, who only seems to be getting stronger. Verstappen is going to be right in the mix and I suspect McLaren’s team strategy will likely help Max more than ...

Lawson has had two pre-season test days and two (or two-and-a-half) races - that's insufficient time for him to get to grips with what appears to be a fundamentally difficult car to get on top of. If we're seriously making an argument for him to be replaced already, perhaps we should move the discu...
