Re: Nikita Mazepin social media video incident
I know where you're coming from, and I do partially agree with you here. However, I have zero problem if "cancel culture" means we get rid of undeserving scumbags or races in dystopian dictatorships. There is a burden of proof that comes along with things, so it might be a more complicated situatio...

SlipstreamF1 Yes that was pretty much my take too - I've not seen the vid, and considering the female's comments I don't have an opinion other than it was probably stupid all round. I knew nothing about the guy before this, but all the noise about this vid has sure as hell made more people aware of ...

Re: Nikita Mazepin social media video incident
Well it seems we have a new F1 brat that many will love to hate. I’m guessing many F1 fans are like me and knew very little about Mazepin before this, and regardless of this current incident, it has certainly shone a light on some of his past behaviour, which paints him in a very poor light. Being b...

If George gets another drive for Merc this weekend and performs as well, what do you think the chances of contracts being broken/renegotiated?
I like Bottas, but if Russell is indeed going to be a large part of Merc's future then why f##k about - just get him in there.

IMO Domenicali usually comes across as quite balanced, level headed and a decent communicator so I've got no problem
For decades the higher echelons of F1 have appointed people who theoretically favor Ferrari, and it's not exactly done them much good

I often wonder how Williams would have fared if they appointed someone approaching the caliber of Wolff or Brawn back in 2013.
No disrespect to Claire Williams but she never came across as having a winning mentality.

First race. Primarily because it was the first race and I was excited, also it was unpredictable (regardless of the rights and wrongs of why). Second race reminded me that I don't like KERS.

Judging by the frequency the drivers have to adjust them whilst being interviewed would suggest the Macca mask is not one of their finest engineering achievements. Hopefully there are some updates due for next race

From a very non-scientific point of view I don’t remember the last time I was so excited about the overall field of young/rookie drivers. To the point I’ll probably be supporting 7 drivers this year
I’m loving the current grid weak or otherwise!

Media reports in the UK about the introduction of a 14 day quarantine period for people travelling to the UK, which could throw a spanner in the works of the plan to start in July. I think it is possible F1 could have some sort of exemption from that as it would count as ‘work’ travel. Same with fo...

I'd absolutely be up for that.
Living in Scotland with the crap weather you need to make the most of the meagre summers so I've always had a problem sitting in front of a TV watching F1 on a sunny afternoon so the more winter races the better as far as I'm concerned.

But then again I’m also one of the few that think ITV did a great job.
