Re: How many Grands Prix have you attended?
Been to Adelaide 93, 94, 95 Awesome event with non stop on track/air action and those screaming v12 Ferrari’s of 95 where unreal. Being so long ago it did lack some big screens that are everywhere now and you did miss some action. The race was quite hard to follow as the cars were so loud. The track...

Re: How to make Monaco more exciting?
Nothing but sour grapes from Hamilton and Alonso. Never heard them complain when they won at Monaco in the past. Hamilton has won dozens of boring races like Spain 2018 which was worse than Monaco IMO. The thing is, if a car was 100 plus hp down at Spain, he would be passed without question. Yes. I...

Re: Your favourite Formula One seasons are...?
1990 for me. I was only five years old from Australia, my older brother used too tape the races for me. I would rush home from school on Monday night too watch those epic battles between man and machine. The cars were stunning to watch, the tracks were bumpy, fast, cars were loud and Murray walker a...

Re: 2017 Italian Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Threa
I think it's ridiculous that they set themselves are arbitrary time to make a decision. Just roll with the punches. Also, isn't it daft that teams are not allowed to switch between a full wet setup to a dry and vice versa. Surely that would solve problems with this sort of thing? Yeah surely it's a...

He's out of his depth. His father's wealth may have bought him a competitive advantage in the junior series but now he's at the highest echelon and on a level playing field with everyone else he's being found out. He is still young though and regardless of other factors you don't win in the lower s...

In the Prost stand Albert park. A few observations.
Honda wow they are rubbish, you can here and feel the vibrations.
Alonso looks tiddled.
Hamilton smashing it, looks good.
Ferrari trying, very close.

Re: How would you improve the TV experience?
I prefer the less is more approach, it almost seems like there is too many cameras around the track that follow the cars too closely. The sense of speed and track undulations are best filmed from a bit further back almost like your there watching at the track. Seeing the cars going through a section...

Also the lack of testing won't help the drivers, there is only so much you can do in the gym etc. Nothing will be quite like a Grand Prix distance it's going to be interesting.

How much will 2017 cars effect driver performance/fitness?
I'm looking forward to next season because we are constantly hearing how easy the current cars are to drive physically. The prediction of 5 seconds a lap faster will hopefully be in race trim, so over the race distance I imagine it being very demanding physically. Combining this with the complex nat...

Re: Safety in F1 following Japan GP [Split from other thread
Personally I think they should drill into drivers double waved yellow flags rule. This is the biggest problem I have. "A double yellow, consisting of two flagmen waving yellow flags (or one waving two flags) at the same post, indicates great danger ahead. Drivers must slow down and be prepared to s...

Maybe that and the recovery procedure, i.e. don't bring the recovery vehicle into play too soon. As someone mentioned, an F1 car is a safer thing to crash into than a recovery vehicle, so wait until the SC is deployed before trying to remove cars from positions where other cars could go off. :thumb...

Re: Grand poll about Rosberg's qualifying incident
Wouldn't Nico have been excluded from qualy if he hadn't got back to the pits under his own power though? He couldn't sit there waiting for everyone to pass and the car potentially overheat and cause damage so reversing would have seemed the logical thing to do at that moment in time, not in hindsi...

Well again, it shows the importance of getting the job done at the start of q3. Lewis didn't bad luck You don't 'get the job done' in the first run. The track rubbers in and that's why being last past the post is what matters. Fact is Rosberg shouldn't have reversed. Hear hear, Monaco is a risky pl...

Re: UPD: Ricciardo DSQ for breach of fuel flow limit, RB app
The whole fuel flow restrictions does my head in. They all start with the same amount of fuel anyway, why not let them control there own fuel rates?. It will bring more passing and strategy. Have this instead of DRS!. Maybe they have fuel flow rates to reduce cost that's about the only reason I can ...

Re: Weak tyres/DRS etc. a good thing?
Short answer No. They had to do something because there was • not enough passing on track. • cars where far to aero sensitive to follow close enough to pass. • gp's where becoming predictable. I think next year it would help if • reduce aero efficiency further • promote mechanical grip • KERS should...
