Re: Stirling Moss says Women lack the mental skill for F1

If they can be astronauts, work in the military and so on, I'm sure driving an F1 car is nothing in comparison. Sometimes, we F1 fans think of drivers as demigods who risk their lives every weekend. They simply are not. They are skilled at figuring out where the limit of a machine is but that reall...

Re: Merc and others got there way tyres changed for barcelon

Lotus already had a car which was kind to it's tyres last year but suffered from heating them up (i.e. getting heat into them and maintaining that heat, for which they were punished in qualifying). They spent a lot of resources addressing that issue and seem to be reaping the rewards for that appro...

Re: Mark Webber to start last after fuel issue (only 150ml l

There is no way RBR would want to sabotage there own car. The money is in the WCC not WDC which they cannot get with just the one car finishing. Perhaps the reason Mark was left out on track they must of know the fuel issue but put it down to sensor fault on car rather than bowser problems, until th...

Just watched the end of Senna. I know that is not on subject but if a life can be saved by not making racing drivers push the limit in conditions that the car wasn't desighed. Is that a bad thing?

Re: McLaren to switch to Honda Engines for 2015 (rumour)

I've long suspected a strain in the McLaren-Mercedes relationship. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. As to the Honda powerplant....they're quite capable of producing a fast, reliable engine in a very short time. Do not be fooled. They have more than enough technology, data and resourc...

I can't see mercedes spending all that money on new wind tunnel, new team members, plenty on a new driver & new car. There must have a lot of upgrades to bring for pre season testing to become at least more competitive than they was last season.
