Verstappen, Lawson and Albon. So many good drives though I was swapping in Alonso and Gasley as I pondered my choices.

Re: F1 presenters and commentators

I found Croft unbearable today - when he was injecting Kylie Minogue lyrics into the mix, I wanted to shout at the TV! Coulthard and Brundle are the ones I rate the most post-Murray Walker. The worst by far was Legard, with James Allen running him close (although I do quite like James Allen's writin...

Re: Abu Dhabi 2021 - How has it left you feeling?

And do we really care about the cars that weren't allowed to unlap themselves? The more I think about it, the more absurd that feels. It's now been revealed that everyone agreed that efforts would be made to not end the race under a safety car... that's the decision that mattered. That's when they ...

Re: Abu Dhabi 2021 - How has it left you feeling?

I don't feel that the results were manipulated. It took longer than expected to clear the track and so they had to make adjustments. That's the luck of the draw and the way it goes - had they not not moved the lapped cars out of the way and Verstappen won (which given his tyre advantage was still v...

Re: Abu Dhabi 2021 - How has it left you feeling?

Oh come on. Even Albon wins the title at that point there was absolutely nothing special from Max in that last lap. Even Albon? For goodness sake... Perez had shown how to defend on worn tyres, to the extent I was surprised to see Hamilton not covering the inside line. So you seriously believe that...

It's only since 2012 that Hamilton has consolidated his racing consistency. Before that he was a 'stick it on pole and drive away' type of winner like Vettel was.
So the past 9 years then - I would argue that A.J. has a point here to be honest.

It's a movie at the end of the day, not a documentary and in this regard, it does the job - it's entertaining and the racing scenes are excellent. I really enjoyed it - I went in to watch a movie not to criticise the inevitable changes to make it entertaining for the masses.
