Re: Aston Martin in 2021 - elite or midfield?

Looks like they'll secure 3rd this season. The final races should suit their car and engine combo. Red Bull could suffer if anything.

Expecting the same pattern for 2021 tbh...

Re: Which of Schumacher's remaining records will Lewis break?

I don't think this has been mentioned previously: If Lewis goes on to win the 2021 title as well, he will equal Schuey's record of five consecutive World Drivers Championship titles. I think 2021 is pretty much a given for Lewis given how stable the rules will be for next year; the cars carrying ov...

Re: 2020 Turkish Grand Prix Race Thread

On a separate note, did anyone listen to the radio messages from Leclerc after he crossed the finish line? His engineer told him "good job" and he just exploded. So much that Ferrari told him to turn his radio off!!! Quite funny, albeit sad. I am happy that he showed some soul though, we need this ...

I don't want to 'dunk' on Massa here, but isn't his team mate head-to-head pretty shoddy? That's true, he is not the creme de la creme of F1 nor the most successful/fastest/etc. He was, however, a genuine contender in 2008 and it is to his credit. ...or the credit of the car. Like Lewis' car from 2...

Exactly, Germany 18. Vettel drove a great race, lead from the front in tricky conditions then made one small error and race over. In comparison, Bottas drove an awful race throughout, Spun 6 times, one of which was taking another car out. He was then lapped by his team mate. There is no comparison....

You don't get points for pole position..... Also, Stroll lost his head and his mental management is a weaknesses. That won't change now or in the future in my opinion. Re: 2020 Turkish Grand Prix Race Thread

I think the one factor that wins Hamilton races more than any other is his tyre management. Vetttell said after the race that he, and I'm sure many others, were just waiting for Hamilton to pit for tyres. Probably hoping that they would get the same drop in performance as Stroll. He didn't and even...

What a race that was. Verstappen will feel he threw that away and it's difficult to argue with that. The strategy was spot on for Hamilton and you have to say he delivered a great drive. I think we may have just witnessed why Max may never become a World Champion. Possibly the fastest driver in the pack, lacking the mental aptitude.

Racing drivers, like boxers, always revert to type when the pressure is on.

I feel bad for Vettel that next year he has to contend with this monster. Maybe. But inconsistency can also be a mental thing too. Lance's head REALLY drops when he gets a bad result and it takes him a few races to rebound. He also does not show the best judgement in combat either. I still pick Vet...

Why the f**k did Q2 start with a tractor still moving a car off track? It could easily have been delayed by two minutes to avoid it.

After the unlapping under safety car incident last race, that was really not good to see.
