Brooklands isn't far from Heathrow and is quite interesting but much of it is outdoors so better later in spring or summer.

Mercedes-Benz withdrew from motor racing following the 1955 Le Mans disaster. It did not return as a team until 2010, some 55 years later. F1 didn't skip a beat then, and wouldn't skip a beat now if Ferrari left. The Scuderia needs to apply some of the energy it wastes acting like a spoiled child t...

To be fair, without the actual word Martini on the normal livery, I doubt many people would connect the stripes with Martini anyway! So 50+ years of motorsport sponsorship and one of the most recognisable liveries in the business gets you pretty much zero brand recognition? If that is true no compa...

Vettel did not replace his steering wheel of his stricken car; a violation of FIA rules. Might be the rule is in place only during an official session? The race was over at that point. The marshals still need to be able to move the car. The regs say that a car cannot be left without a steering whee...

You could argue that what F1 needs is for the old power teams to step up and start betting the Leicester Cities. We have had Brawn win in their first year followed by 4 years of a fizzy drinks company that had been running an F1 team for less than 10 years then 3 years and counting of a motor manufa...

Who supplies the engine for the p1. Mclaren or is it outsourced still. Porsche could be competitive in formula 1 very quickly if they revise the 914 (is it 914 or 919) engine slightly to conform. I don't think VAG motorsport are looking to enter any new championships. They have just withdrawn VW from WRC Rallying and Audi from LMP1 racing. A lot of what they are still in is customer programs. They are dealing with a crisis and don't need the distraction or the expense.
