Re: How Many WDCs Would Vettel have Won Against Ricciardo?
He'd have won 4 titles, he was brilliant in them cars, regardless of relative pace. Once he relearns how to drive cars like 2007-2009 with reduced rear grip, he'll be right up there again. Sometimes its harder to relearn something that to just learn it... old habits. I feared at the start of 2014 th...

Or Vergne and Liuzzi (who outqualified rookie Vettel there) are Hungary specialists and it's not even Vettel's best track! hopefully this is the start of the resurgence and not just the one off, but since we got into Europe, except Austria, Seb has been right there, just without the rub of the green...

Either way, Red Bull, who had been very good operationally have slipped this year. They could've had 2nd/3rd in Oz, 3rd/4th in Malaysia and Bahrain which is 87 pts They have 35 pts Look how Ferrari backed up Alonso in 2012 to keep him in it. Re: Will Vettel struggle with new regs?
Whilst he may not be an obvious 2nd half of the season man, let's take it in thirds 2009/10/12/13- the final 1/3 of races, his points per race is so much higher than the other 2/3 points per race I think over 25 of his wins have come in the final third of the season. What''s happened is now the Red Bull is a very planted, very stable car. Earlier in the year it wasn't as good but Vettel drove round those problems and Webber couldn't quite as much, but not the car is very nicely hooked up, Webber is confident and much closer to Seb, like Massa and Alonso last yea...

He was faultless in Malaysia! He won the race from pole, despite pitting too early and having to overtake 2 cars When Seb's biggest error was locking up in China on the last lap when he could've had a run on Hamilton or running on at Turn 1 in Canada when 20 seconds in the lead, you know its been pr...

Yeah I don't buy this reckless tag because in 2010, he'd had only TWO crashes (Turkey/Spa)... yes he barged his way past Sutil at Silverstone but its not as if he had a prang ever other race... hell Alonso had as many if not more crashes than Vettel in 2010 but he was never branded a crasher. But Sp...

As for who I'd axe, definitely Hill. Just dour and has nothing insightful to say... and I was a Schumacher fan so I'm less good at forgetting the past. I really like Allan McNish- his accent and the way he describes something is really good- you can really feel the excitement he gets out of it. So I...

It isn't boring because he's chasing records and making history. 2012 was Vettel's scrappiest year in qualy yet he still be a qualy master 11-9. Hamilton could give him a good run over a season. Alonso would make a respectable effort, other than that, they may get 4 or 5 over the year but not many more

His debut in America was solid enough for the ITV commentators to give him a mention amid 2 hours of pro-Hamilton propaganda but it wasn't until Fuji when he burst onto the spotlight. It would have been very good had it stuck... one bookmaker had him 1/6 (from 1/3 pre race) to win the title just before his retirement. Blown wide open but still in a good position.

Alonso's perceived weakness in qualy is a bit like Vettel's perceived weakness in overtaking- both are partly down to their cars Alonso's car is not the best over 1 lap so he can often end up 3 rows back and Vettel's cars are not set up to overtake so when he does get behind traffic, he hasn't got t...

Yeah disagree about the F2004 not being the best. It was far and away the best car, as well as Button drove that year. I agree Sato didn't do the BAR justice but Button had a very good year in 2004- Schumi only tailed off slightly once he'd won 12 of the first 13 races
