Re: Antonelli....could he actually do it?....
Wow. That move on George... that was brutal. Something about his approach reminds me more of Valentino Rossi than another F1 driver. Super fast, but in combat against other top drivers, it seems like a move is making a statement. Aggressive, but not reckless or over the line.

Not a problem so much, just it the best option? Guess we will see! Funding jump would be huge I imagine so probably down to that more than anything. If F3 is not the goal then I don't see why she's doing 2 years in GB3, my thought was winning a race or two might enable her to find the backing for F...

Re: New Regs .. First Impressions?
Well we are a few races in and I'm not loving it. I do enjoy that the cars can follow close and re-pass but still frustrates me that I can't *see* why. I'm not switching my focus to reading some poxy computer game graphic to try and work out why the driver behind is suddenly 20km/h faster.

Pretty dismal start '26 then, but Did Not Starts aside it feels like Oscar has been a bit anonymous this year or is it just me? Disjointed start to season mean it's too early to call?

Re: Antonelli....could he actually do it?....
I think Russell may have written off the first few races as exceptions but it doesn't look that way. Antonelli looked on a mission. It's going to be long season for Russell! With gap he has now, if Kimi can keep the F3/F2 mentality in check, he can afford to be OK with finishing behind Russel if the...

Re: Antonelli....could he actually do it?....
I was unconvinced this year in the first few races, as i thought a big element of luck went into helping him, but this weekend, he really did loog great regarding race pace. I think he will only be able to win it if Mercedes are consistently at the top and russell keeps underperforming. He still ma...

Antonelli....could he actually do it?....
I was expecting Antonelli to start to gain more consistency this year, but surely nobody expected a start as strong as the one he has had. They aren't fluke results inherited from attrition or lucky rolls of the dice. He has been quick in all sessions and has raced hard . Anyone think he may actuall...

So not much love for the new gadgets here so far. I have read various pieces on several sites now and it's much the same. Re: Colton Herta... How good is he?
Herta is a driver who came into IndyCar very young, and quickly became the youngest ever winner (age 18) and pole sitter (age 19), finishing third in the championship in just his second season. A lot of hype got generated during this period due to his seemingly immense potential, considering his ra...

Colton Herta... How good is he?
I was aware of his name but I don't follow Indy and looking at his record, it's not as impressive as I was expecting. Has he been in decent teams? What teammates has he has and how has he stacked up against them? Realistically what should we expect of him in F2?

Re: 2026 F1 Pre-Season Testing Thread
Ferrari have a very effective DRS replacement. Invert the wing and it creates lift instead of down force. Create enough lift, carry the speed and jump over the car in front. Clever stuff and should make for great TV.

Confirmed Pin to ELMS LMP2 . My understanding is that FRECA are backing a scheme whereby a 4th car can be run by any team signing a top 3 F1A driver. Rumours that F1A champ Pin is heading (back) to LMP2. Probably good for her, but won't help whatever credibility F1A has. I don't think there has ever been any credibility to the series.
