Re: Is Vettel finished?

I will continue to attest to my controversial opinion that Vettel has never really been an elite quality driver. I don't think he was better than the likes of Button or Rosberg but he was flattered by unbelievable Red Bull cars and a slowly broken and past it Webber. There is no denying he was a ver...

Re: 2019 British Grand Prix Race Thread

It was a pleasure to see Hamilton win convincingly in person. I had a great view of Becketts, Hangar, the Loop and Wellington from the grandstand. The hard racing for the final podium spot was brilliant. I'd definately go again!

The right result for an exciting race given Hamilton's superior race pace during the long runs. I expect a long battle barring any collision!

Mercedes are holding a few tenths back. Their cars look heavier than the rest. They aren't carrying as much speed through Copse.

I expect Hamilton on pole with Leclerc in P2 given how Bottas is running.

Re: 2019 Canadian Grand Prix Race Thread

It was unsafe for Vettel to rejoin where he did. However: 1) Vettel had limited ability to dictate his trajectory 2) Hamilton has run Rosberg off the track in the past. Most of these were deliberate defensive moves but a few were following lock-ups. One of his USA GP starts he locked up and ran very...
