Re: How fast is Verstappen relative to Hamilton? (THREAD SPLIT)

It amazes me how people think that default position is that the driver who has failed to get poles he should have is faster in qualifying than the driver who has 50% more poles than Senna. Yes, and when you get outqualified by Hulkenberg coming out of retirement for a one off and then by the much c...

Not only that, but poor UnlikeUday's been pushing Perez's wheelbarrow like there's no tomorrow for a while now so just for the PR work alone that Unlike's put in on Perez's behalf is another reason i'd like to see him get the ride. I think they both deserve the result they're waiting for.

Re: How will Russell perform against Bottas?

It wouldn’t completely offset, they would have to pay Bottas his 2021 wages (maybe more for break of contract) and then pay Williams to break George’s contract. Williams demanded $12 million to break Bottas’ contact back in 2017 and Mercedes paid it. I imagine George would be that amount or more. S...

Russell not winning this is a travesty, but if anyone else deserved it today it's Perez.
At least Russell is bagging some points out of this. It was a great effort imo.

Re: 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Thread

Bottas has been very sloppy so far. I can't remember the last time he has looked like this. Can't keep the car on the track at all. Max surprisingly had the best race pace although he was on Mediums while the Mercs ran the Hards. Russell has done well so far and will have a shot at pole. Still think...

Started following f1 at the start of the 2010 season and as a Lewis fan. Haven't missed a race thus far and this approaching weekend looks somewhat surreal to me. Don't know who to root for. Me too, never watched an F1 weekend without Lewis participating in it. But never have felt more excited. The...

Re: Is Hamilton ruining Max’s legacy?

Hamilton is not ruining Verstappen 's legacy. However, if it is true that the Verstappens are blocking a remotely competitive teammate for Max, then this will taint his legacy for sure. Verstappen beat Ricciardo fairly clearly on qualifying pace in 2017 and 2018. The same Ricciardo who has smashed ...

Re: How will Russell perform against Bottas?

Bottas has been in such a slump I would not be shocked if russel out qualifies him. But beating him in the race is harder to fathom. Russell’s race results at Williams have not been exactly stellar. There seems to be a lack of race craft which should get highlighted this Sunday. On almost any other ...

I can't see Verstappen giving two hoots about his team mate being Perez or Hulk though. If Verstappen is as arrogant as everyone here says then he wouldn't be worried about facing tier 2 drivers. I would still keep Albon, despite the downward spiral he's in. Red Bull need to figure out what it is about their team that prevents talented...
